Stupid question! How do I post pictures on the net

Mods: sorry if this doesn't belong here, feel free to move it if you have to. I was wondering how i can upload pictures from my computer (macintosh) to the internet? I already have all of my photos in my iphoto program and am wanting to post some of them here. WHAT DO I DO? And i have googled it but didn't find very much, thanks....

that's easy. First you have to find a site that'll let you upload your pics there for free. Lots of sites do this, but for the sake of anonymity I like to use Geocities. There's a little extra legwork, but it's easy and free.

First use their free website thing. They might have a little walkthrough where the html is written for you. If so, then use that to upload your pictures. If not, then you have to use their online website editor to 1)upload your photos to the net, and then 2)make a page that includes them. To make the page, just enter this html code into it: <img src="mypicture.jpg"> . mypicture.jpg is whatever name your file is.

Or you can use a site that publishes the images to the net for you like photobucket or flickr, but I've never used them before. I think you're better off with a geocities page that no one will see, depending on what's in the pictures.
