I don't know if this is the right place to put this, and this question has got to be the stupidest of all the stupid questions that ever existed but...
...my logout button is missing! It literally dissapeared overnight. I have no way to log out. It's not even on the home page either. Does anyone know where it went?

I think something weird is going on... I can't post or reply at ALL from my Sidekick... I actually have to sit at the frickin' PC if I want to get on here. It's never happened before!
UGH!!
It's not just you my dear Scarlett...

yeah, you ladies are right, somethin's going on; most likely updates and stuff...
i have no logout, actually the only 2 buttons i have are "Home" and "User Options"
what i did to get to the thread list was press, the "today" button on the list for active topics, and that brought me here..
im glad other people r having the same issues, so im guessing just routine maintenance

If you click "Home" then look under your avatar on the right side, there's a "New Posts" highlighted and a "Log Out" too, right underneath it.

Almost Every button is missing. Ugh... Either it's maintenence or a clever ruse to keep all of us damned new opies' from posting so much.

I am finding that the site is easier to naviage in Internet Explorer. Looks like some changes are being made and they are not very compatible yet with Firefox. I just hate IE so frickin' bad, but, I'm using it right now. HTH.

Yeah the work-in-progress is more compatible with MSIE than with FF. However - I refuse to use MSIE, except in extreme emergencies because of its quazillion security holes. Try Changing the theme to Curtains Up and you'll find LOG OUT on the bottom right of the main Opiophile.org screen. It's actually there but it's a blue font so it blends into the background. It took me a long time yesterday to figure out how to navigate the board all over again. Oh well - I like the mental exercise. Time for my beauty nap. :p

You could always use the IE tab extension in FF. Thank the opy gods I've been too sick (I had a cold, not withdrawal sick) to get out of bed for the last 3-4 days, so I didn't notice it till now. Anyway, what I did was just added opio to the list of sites that automagically get loaded in IE tab. It looks better, and so far, works better too. Gawd I hope it gets fixed soon. I hate anything even resembling Interweb Explorer... Oh wait, I had a thought. Lets see how it looks in Safari. *waits* Okay, after a little bit of experimentation, it appears that Curtains Up looks all right on Safari, but I still can't find the goddamn logout button.

In my experience, Firefox is easier to use, little to no pop-ups and more secure overall compared to IE.
It's definitely worth a try if you have not used it yet.

I've gotten so used to hitting the "new posts" button, it feels weird not to. Just curious, but anyone know how long they'll be doing updates for? (if that's what it is)

Hi buddy. You can click on new posts right below your avatar on the home page. I'm going out with Mr. Happy. Have a good night!

This sucks dick*! I can't even get on here from my Sidekick!! Not even the homepage!
I actually have to log on the PC... and can't sit in a chair for more than a couple minutes.
Damn it. Shit. Damn.
*disclaimer: there is nothing wrong with sucking dick. In this case, however, it is not meant to be a good thing.
