I just watched a doku about prisons in Bolivia. Dude. Its a whole city behind walls. There are the bigger bosses. They have cellphones, sit there in the prison on a balcony and make business.
They also cook coka in this prison. The camera would film one of the drug cooks at work. He had a liitle pot, then two plastic vessels, one with ether and one with sulfuric acid. He just heated the coka, poured in the sulfuric, then one syringe full of ether and that was it.
The prisoner they interviewed there, went buying his coka, made in the prison, when he got money. Then they would film him when he smoked the coka paste.
50 grams he bought for 20 Euros. Shit.
