looks as if im the first to post in this forum... hope its the right place.
anyway... in july i went to a walk in/urgent care center, walked out with xanax and cymbalta. so i went to a methadone clinic from sept to dec 7th (day i was kicked out.) in the time at the clinic i was pissing dirty for benzo's time after time so they told me i would be kicked out if i didnt bring in the prescription. they said it would be cool if i brought the script in and i wouldbe allowed to continue the combo just as long as it was monitored by the doc. so i brought them the old bottle from the urgent care center because i was really buying them off the street.
so anyway i didnt hear shit about it for awhile they just took the prescription info down and that was it. this hapened in october. so in december they kicked me out for a couple of reasons which were mostly all bullshit, but one was for using benzos.
anyway, today i recieved a letter in the mail from this urgent care center. it said that Dr. so and so had received a letter from my clinic dated dec 7th (day i was kicked out) and dismissed me ffrom his practice because i lied to him about being on methadone when i got the xanax and he would not treat me for aniexty/panic attacks.
so i called the office and told them that i was not at the methadone clinic at the time when i saw him for the xanax and panic attack problems. but they told me there was nothing i could do.
now to my question. didnt that clinic break some sort of privacy law by sending the dr. a letter saying i was at the clinic and on methadone. because i didnt sign shit for them to release that info. another reason i was kicked out is because i was in a car accident and the bitch conselor said she knew i lied to the cop. but the cop called the clinic and tried to ask her questions but she told him that she couldnt say anything without me signing a release, which i didnt. and i remember the first day they said that absolutely no one would know i was there unless i signed this god damned release form......so i didnt sign shit ever.
so are they allowed to keep it private from everyone but other dr's or did they break some sort of privacy law. because i hate the asshole fuckers and would love to go after them for this.
sorry this was long, any advice would be great.
thanks guys.
