I have Nexium (40mg extended release). Im starting to get a upset stomach of sorts from the ibuprofen. My doctor gave me the nexium saying it would help protect my stomach lining from the affects of ibuprofen (not his exact words but my interpritation of it). WEll if i take nexium will it stop codeine from working? i know some things like rollaides can stop opies from working (im not sure if it was rolaids but it was something like that). Will it affect it at all?

you shouldn't have any problems (i.e. the nexium stopping opiates from working); the Nexium is a proton pump inhibitor (it stops your stomach from making too much acid). I take Nexium and it's never stopped me from enjoying my opiates.

Nope. I was on Nexium as well when taking Panadeine Forte (same as T3's). Didn't do shit. It was those fucking SSRI's that fucked with my Codeine. So I took my Codeine tabs with Grapefruit juice. And I take valium with Grapefruit juice too. Aropax or Paxil. Is the worst SSRI to take with Codeine based products.
It kind of interferes with the receptor responsible for codeine to morphine conversion in the brain. Which is why I took grapefruit juice. Because it inhibits that receptor. I forget what it's called.
Look at the Codeine FAQ in the Opiates section on erowid.org , or do a search on there or on google for Codeine FAQ. Or Codeine potentiators. Perhaps Codeine interactions too. Some interactions may be advertised as bad but some have a double meaning ;-). Bad can be good if it's an interaction that causes the codeine's effect to be stronger.
You seem to have alot of questions. You need to do alot of drug research man. Don't just ask around on forums. Use resources like Erowid.org . It's probably the best. As it's information isn't biased either for or against drugs.
