I have been in two car accidents, a bike accident, a really bad accident where i fell down a hill (skateboarding), fractured ribs (beat up) and the thing that finaly did me in was working at a home improvement store and my back "went out". Well i dont have overwhelming pain but i have pain that is persistant and wont go away. I dont need oxy or anything stronger, hydrocodone seems to be the best thing so far. The thing is, after a month or so my doctor says i have been on it too long and i sholdnt be on opiates any longer. So when it gets bad i end up going in and saying i re-hurt the area (back or neck, which both hurt). Now, usuly something has happend around the time i go because thats when it ends up hurting the worst! She had given me a script for tramadol A LOT of it. 60 pills with 5 refills. I had gone through this twice in the past year maybe two years (had the set of 5 refills re-called in). But tramadoll makes me all kinds of depressed and gross feeling. Is there a specialist you can see or a clinic you can go to, to get meds? Or would my condition not be serious enough? I can order 12.8 mmg codeine pills which have 200mg ibeoprofen so i can take 4 and get as much codeine as two tylenol 3's. I know there isnt much chance of my doctor just giving me hydro or more Propoxyphene hcl (the hcl salt is amazing!). If i dont push my luck with her i can probably get another script of soma (40) with 3 refills, which is amazing. The codeine pills are 6$ for 24. Which i guess would be like 1$ per tylenol 3 and thats not bad at all. But... it just doesnt seem to be working. I guess i needed to vent for a moment thanks to whomever reads this! Have a great day.
