Why can't I edit?

I have a post I want to edit, but the edit button is not there. This has happened to me before. what's the deal? I am logged in, I have tried leaving and coming back, logging out and back in, but none of it works. Also, the thread is not closed.

I believe after a certain amount of time has passed you cannot edit the post. Can a mod verify this?

I just posted it last night. And the thread is not closed, it is the "if drugs were legal" thread in the general forum.

The edit button disappears after about an hour. So yeah, that's definitely why.

Ive noticed after 30-45 mins you cant edit your post anymore... Unless your an opio God..

You're right, i went back and looked at other older posts and the edit button isn't there on those either. I never noticed that. That kinda sucks though.

you can't unless you are a donating member/mod/admin

eerased - go to quick links + user control panel and on the left side u will see a column, click on edit profile,
there you'll see : optional information where it should list your current title
type in the empty field whatever you want to change it to. should work

i've just changed mine to - undermud,
so it should work for you too
