Hair Follicle Testing

Swim called me while i was on my way home from work today and asked me if there was any way to pass this test. To my understanding and personal experiences, most shampoos don't work as well as they say they do. I don't know if shaving his head bald and keep doing it after his hair regrows a certain length if that will help get rid of the 20-30day window of drugs used prior. He mentioned he used pot new years eve, so from what ive read hes pretty much f*cked!

Does anyone have a good suggestion for SWIM?

I'm not to informed on this subject and even after doing some research, all i really have to say to SWIM is that hes pretty much f*cked..

**Note**
This is a pre-employment test, they already gave him a urine test which he passed. Hes got about 2 to 3 weeks before he has to take this test.

Any information or personal experience or what not.. please post!

Shaving your head is pretty much like pleading guilty... so I don't know about that route man. Also, I've heard they will take it from elsewhere. So unless swim wants to shave his eyebrows, arms, legs etc... ???

Kyuss posted a link to a great site somewhere on the board... the site had this Dr who does drug screens answering 1000's of questions. Basically it was a Q & A and there was a TON of info there. I'll try to find it and post back....

drug testing is so fucking stupid...I know Canada isn't perfect either, but I am sure fucking happy I've never had to piss in a cup or do a test to get a job.

I have experience with the shampoos and both for myself and one other person they did the job.
What the brand was I can't say it was years ago but as the drug screening industry grows and finds new ways to fuck us so do the people who are making products that we can use to beat these tests.
It's really amazing some of the things you can get to beat urine screens and hair tests. Look into it more. Try and find the most reliable shampoo you can. Some will garauntee money back if it doesnt work. While that is much consolation when you've just lost your job these are normally the ones that you want to go with.

If the test is coming and your going to fail you might as well try anything you can and shaving is not going to work. Obviously its more of a joke but there is no way you will be able to remove every hair on your body. They will find one for sure. If you have 2-3 weeks then you have plenty of time to work something out. Just follow the directions to a T and who knows you might be clean anyway.

It is just for the workplace. We were curious why she was not showing up, and were afraid our testing was inadequate. I find out today indeed that we are NOT testing for expanded as we thought. We have changed that and now she will probably result in a positive test. Thanks for that info. It has helped us correct a situation.
We thought about doing hair testing at one point for pre-employment, but the major labs said they could not yet target synthetic opiates in hair specimens -- only codeine, morphine, and 6AM. I noticed their literature states this as well. Is that your experience as well regarding hair tests? We are just trying to get with the times on testing.
It seems that Quest, LabCorp, etc., strictly identify metabolites from codeine, morphine, and 6-AM. So this indicates to me that hair will not detect hydrocodone, oxycodone, etc. I guess it is tough to use hair for anything other than illegal drugs. It would be hard to use hair tests to identify anyone that uses synthetic opiates illegally. Can someone clarify the drugs that can be tested for in hair? We have thought of using hair testing for pre-employment at our company. We don't have a lot of safety sensitive work here.

'clean' hair from a fake head(sold in all the headshops) should do it...

Shave your head, then offer a sample of pubic hair instead, might get you out of the test.

Hola, dont know what your specific test is, but your hair holds your drug use.
Length of hair = what you've been using and for how long, when etc. Your hair can give a really good picture of your drug use. Growth rate of hair etc, so if you has a dope binge, it will show up in your hair.The only way around it is "clean hair", but if its gonna be pulled out of the guys head by the tester, he's screwed....

I know this sounds really out there and you probley wont do it but I think if you wore a wig (made from human hair) and glued it to your head (lol) it might work.

Oh and ive also heard that bleaching your hair will remove any trace of drugs...after its bleached you can just get some hair dye from the store and dye it back to your normal col,or (btw ive just heard that <-- by word of mouth but I would do that 1st...bleach...and then try using some shampoo to be double safe)

There is a shampoo by Nexxus called Aloe rid. I am in Cosmetology school and we use this to eliminate all traces of medications, mostly blood pressure medication that for some reason will stop perms from setting and make hair coloring come out weird. I cant promise it will work with opiates but its been quite successful in eliminating other prescription medications.....Good luck
