Ive been browsing and found this: http://www.exchangesupplies.org/publications/detox_handbook_5th_edition_online/lofexidinedetox.html

Lofexidine / Britlofex. They say, it helps counteracting the effects of any extra noradrenaline in the system, when one is in withdrawel. I think noradrenaline make a very big part of the WD symptom, correct me, if Im wrong. So it might help? Another medicamentaion that comes to my mind is Beta Blockers against high blood presserue. They contain drugs against noradrenaline and adrenaline, too. They are not OTC though.

Loperamide / Immodium. Could be taken against the stomach problems. And together with P-gp inhibitors it might even produce opioid-like effects, but then it wouldnt be an opie free WD anymore.

Loperamide HCL (Immodium) definately does ease the pain of withdrawl, some say almost as good as Methadone. For best results I would say to go for the liquid over the pills though, as the dose to stop the gange would require alot of pills (on that stomach) and the liquid vehicle would allow for faster absorbsion and possibly help soothe your stomach a bit. On that same note though, even without potentiation of the Loperamide to produce effects it would still not be an opoid free recovery as Loperamide is itself an opaite; one need only look at the chemical structures of Methadone and Propoxyphene to see the resemblences. It is also a mixed agonist/antagonist opoid, like the M + P, although it is almost completely devoid of mu receptor activity. As for the other 2 I can't say either way.

Sorry I'm not chemically inclined so now im also wondering what the P-gp inhinitors are.
Meperidine is what some of the other posts are saying Loperamide is related to.

P-gp inhibitors are drugs (such as Lotec) that are used to decrease the secretion of HCL acid in the stomach. While I have little knoweledge on this subject I would doubt that one would see any activity with Loperamide using them as a prep, I mean Loperamide still cannot cross the blood-brain barrier and still has little to no mu receptor activity once it gets there.... but I have seen weirder shit happen, if anyone has had any experience in this area I would like to hear it.
