Hey guys, got a question for ya. Just the other night a girl I know dropped off 10 5mg vicodin and 10 5 mg percocet for me...well i took a quick look before she left to make sure I didn't get ripped, and the vics are m357's, which is familiar to me...(5/500's)....and the percs were in a cellaphane but they looked just like the 512's so i was like cool and let her go with my $.

well of course i ripped open the bag with the percs first and went to look at them and both sides were blank, wierd. so i looked closer and someone had scratched off everything on both sides of the pill, kinda fishy. so i call her up and ask her wtf is up and she says its cuz the guy she gets em off of was paranoid about getting caught so he scratched them off in case he got caught. but that made me think why scratch the "percs" and not the vics too?

anyways long story short upon detailed inspection of the 10 diff pills i could barely make out 500mg on one of the sides of the pills. am I wrong to think that most 5 mg percs dont have 500mg of aspirin in them? the pill is white and round and has the beveled edges like a 512 does, but no split in them like the 512's, and besides 512's have 325mg aspirin in them not 500

question to all you guys, to your knowledge do these sound like any percs youve heard of or should i just toss em away and not risk eatin em? i dont want to throw away something that might be a perc but i dont want to risk taking something i dont want to like neurontin or something stupid. oh and btw ive never been ripped by this girl before so....i dunno what to do. advice! =) thanks

I can only tell you what I would do:
Eat one of the percs without having consumed any Vics and see what happens.
My feeling is you'll be ok.

5/500 mg percs do exist i don't know anything about the pill itself though i've only ever had the 5/325s

I have never seen a round 5/500. There are round 5/325's, but the only 5/500's I have ever read about/seen were capsules. Not to mention I have never seen 500 on any type of percocet.

Sounds like you have either 500mg of OTC asa (aspirin) (most likely), or 500mg of apap (tylenol).

Nobody in their right mind would scratch off the imprint of a legit pill. How would a prospective buyer know they are legit? Get your money back if you can.

Yep, sounds like a fuckin' scam to me. This kinda shit just pisses me off; I'd try to get my coin back...

This is exactly what I was thinking, why make it so whoever is buying these pills thinks something is up with the sale if its legit? Ah well, I might pop two and see what happens, driving me nuts to not know exactly what they are, especially when I need to catch a buzz and can't find anything, grrr. Thanks for the help

i did the same thing a while back only the rip-off bitch sprinkled a couple throughout the rest of pills.I had bought a much larger quantity.
Anyways I ate what I was positive were percs and got high as hell,the next day I was cringing,and I took some of another form of the pills and ?I have a high tolerence so I took 6.Anyways my husband left to go get his ciggerettes and came back 15 minutes later .He said I had my hand under the mouse pad and was drooling but still looking for the mouse under the pad.He laid me on the couch and watched me till I woke up.They were somas.I am now prescibed those and take them as I should w/ no reactions like that.
However the remainder of the pills that were in the bag said 500 on them and the E on the other side was scraped off and they were Excedrins.I don't know if that is what you have so just don't buy from her again.A rip-off.

The only 5/500 meds similar to Percocet come in capsule form and are called Tylox. Percocet does not come in 5/500. I wouldn't even take them because they are most likely extra strength tylenol(acetaminophen) in 500mg strength. You are correct when you say percs don't have 500mg of aspirin or tylenol.

I wouldn't trust her but then I don't trust anybody.
There has to be a reason why they would scrape
the ID off and most likely its because they are something
else, if the guy got cought he'd be toast wether there are
marks on the pills or not, cops do chemical tests usually.

They do exist however like waff said they are red/white capsules called Tylox.

Well, I didn't try them but my roommate did, he ate two of em and said he didn't feel anything at all, not even the smallest hint of warmth, bah I hate getting ripped. Usually I don't get in situations where I get ripped on pills, but I guess it happens to everyone at some point, at least I didn't get like 100 of em, but in cases like that I'd make damn sure I know what I'm buying first.
Guess I know not to trust her again eh? Waiting on a call for 40mg teva's and 20mg teva's, shame thats all I can get my hands on lately. Used to be able to get 30mg roxis and 15mg roxis but dudes # is disconnected. Oh well at least I can catch a buzz off of tevas.....sometimes....haha
