I've used codeine using aspirin/caffeine/codeine pills called 222's. I use the CWE method and have got very good at doing it and the final result is almost perfectly clear so I know there isnt too much aspirin left. My problem is that I always get bad stomach pains after taking it, even if i take it with food. I'm not sure if this is just a side effect from using lots of codeine, I do about 250mg a time every day or two. I'm thinkin it could be the large amount of caffeine too. But heres my question, could the small amount of aspirin left the solution be giving me an ulcer or doing damage or is this just a common side effect. T3's seem to do the same thing to my stomach if I take allot too. Any advice, experience would be appreciated :D

Renton- Aspirin can definately cause stomach discomfort and an ulcer. Most often a peptic ulcer. Aspirin suppresses the production of prostaglandins, which are important in the normal functioning of the stomach lining. When their is a reduction in the levels of prostaglandins in the stomach lining, it allows for ulcers to form.
Caffeine can aggravate an ulcer as it increases the production of stomach acids. Codeine while having no effect on the lining of the stomach can cause nausea, especially if taken in higher doses.

I would not know how much aspirin is being retained when doing a CWE. You may want to look at taking an opiate that is not in combination with other analgesics. The analgesics in opiates help to potentiate the effectiveness of the opiate, such as with T3's. While the overall effectiveness of pain may be better than with just the opiate alone, I would imagine if all your looking for is the euphoria, staying away from the combination of an analgesic and opiate may be your best bet if your experiencing so much stomach discomfort.

If an ulcer is something your concerned about, you may want to check your stools for blood. They may appear to be black, which indicates blood that has been digested by the stomach, but is a good indication that an ulcer is or has been bleeding. If you do see bright red blood, go to the nearest ER right away or call 911. This is not a good sign.

You may also want to take something to reduce the amount of acid production in the gut. There are OTC meds available; Tagamet, Pepcid, to name a few. Those of Methadone should avoid Tagamet, it can precipitate withdrawals.

These are just suggestions. If your really concerned and the pain has worsened or your having black stools, my advice would be to see a doctor immediately.
