Are all opiates created egual in drug tests

I have fibromyalgia and finally have percocet,but some times I take other opaties would this show up in the pee test my docs will make me take???

Also unrelated how many percs would it take to OD if one has never taken more than 2 a day??? If percocet fail to kill my my pain maybe death will but the first ? is most important.

I'm fairly certain that not all opiates show up the same on drug tests. Morphine derived opioids as well as codeine all show up as morphine but as for things such as oxy, hydro, fent, done, etc...as far as I know they need to test specifically for those substances in order to find them.

I'm assuming that they can tell the difference between opiates in drug tests because they test me for heroin use at my methadone clinic so presumably any heroin use shows up differently to the methadone for which I am obviously always positive for. Having said that the aforementioned test has given me a positive result for heroin use when in fact I'd only used DF118's. For this reason when the meth clinic discovered that my boyfriend was prescribed DF's for pain relief by his GP they made him swap them for an extra 10ml of meth a day because his tests were always going to be positive whilst he continued to use DF's.

If it's the same med (oxy + oxy), then no....the test can't detect amounts, only the presence of substances.

If you added several other opiates, however, yes.....they can often be separately detected. Methadone and morphine, for example, have very different metabolites and therefore they show up separately on most detailed piss tests.
