SWIM and his band Multiversum performs a song about the "benzombie" state of mind that many of you probably have experienced (but don't remember!)... The performance is as sloppy as a performance can be, because we've taken lots of alcohol, heroin, pentazocine, dextropropoxiphene, amphetamine, cannabis and of course benzodiazepines! While everyone were at least are wasted on heroin and other opioids, the tambourine player should be lucky for being alive, as he had like half a bottle of Scotch in combination with his dextropropoxiphene (and alc + dex is an infamous killer, much more deadly than mixing other opioids with alc for some reason that I don't remember)

Well, anyway, here are the lyrics, which SWIM himself thinks are pretty good! And feel free too laugh about how poor they play/sing!

Lyrics:

When you're having a few beers, and popping downer pills
The benzombie in you appears, your former self he kills
He comes to life and takes control, he replaces your mind
His iron grip soon holds your soul, and he makes you go blind

Benzombie - a monster with a human face
Benzombie - the primal instincts he obeys
Benzombie - his brain is nowhere to be found
Benzombie - but still he walks around

The benzombie he follows, a few basic instincts now
The more pills he swallows, the better he knows how
To drink and fuck and fight, those are the things he wants to do
That's how he spends his night, and then he puts the blame on you

Benzombie - a monster with a human face
Benzombie - the carnal instincts he obeys
Benzombie - his brain is nowhere to be found
Benzombie - but still he walks around

When you wake up the next morning, he has gone away
He left without a warning, the zombie did not stay
Everything that he did do, it was so cruel and grim
And now one is believing you, when you tell it was him

Benzombie - a monster with a human face
Benzombie - the basic instincts he obeys
Benzombie - his brain is nowhere to be found
Benzombie - but still he walks around

You know what your band is missing??
A 'Phonic's monkey' they had in southpark.
Man, that monkey could really keep a beat!

Just kidding man!
you have a good way with words, definitely could see potential there.
You all do look pretty damn wasted though!
Carefull on those opiate/bezo/alcohol combos, really playing with fire there!
Like you said yourself there - it's a 'deadly' mix..

Take care..

Take care..Most of the drug mixing stupidity that evening was done by "Mr Tambourine Man"... SWIM is actually very careful, although there have been a couple of times when he woke up and wondered how close he was to not waking up...

I'll consider that monkey idea, it isn't that bad actually! :D

My connection sucks ass... so I won't be able to hear it for another hour. Those lyrics are pretty good though, man! Has a 'Dead Kennedys' feel to them.

Well, have fun and try to remember doing it! :D

Well, have fun and try to remember doing it! :DIf you don't remember anything, filming it is a good idea though... But SWIM actually DOES remember it... He remembers it very well, because he had so much trouble trying to keep Mr Tambourine Man awake enough to play! He's actually not a Tambourine Man, but a very good pianist... But we had to degrade him as the drugs effectivly took his ability to play the song on piano away...
