Calm a racing heart or blood pressure

Sorry if this post is out of place, I'm new here and haven't gotten used to the structure yet, so sorry if it is out of place.

I once read that reclined position left arm lifted above heart over head, right arm crossed over chest & left knee bent is a recovery position. true?

Just want to know if there are any methods to calm down and I am referring to the feelings I get when I do C IV.

I usually inject just 3/4 then wait a few seconds and then the rest. i am generally careful, just want to know if there is anything to do, if you do a bit too much. i guess h works the best but i think the arm above the head def. helps me.

hi jason. i moved this thread to the stims forum, since you're asking about coke, sort of.

first off, the only recovery position i've ever heard of is the one you put an unconscious person in, so they can breathe and not choke on thier own vomit. that one is on their stomach, with one knee bent (to keep them from rolling over), and that same arm raised. ( i think it should be the left leg & arm, but i'm not certain).

secondly, the only way to calm down that i've found when IVing coke, is to NOT do any more, take a few benzos, and go lay down. if you do too much, there's not gonna be much you can do till the seizure ends.

but if raising your arm helps you, do it. be careful cuz it's not too hard to shoot too much coke and OD. in fact there's a thread somewhere here about how many of us have OD'd on it, or come real close. and unless you're very experienced with speedballs, i wouldn't recommend heroin to calm you down after a shot of coke... though if you ARE experienced, it can be a great thing. just play safe!

I once had a coke OD. 250mgs IVed (without having used all daylong, i used to use allday long, not that day..). I lost my hearing, my heart stoped, and it started with only one tick, then stoped again, then started again irregularity. I tought this is it. I'm going to die... Then came extreme euphoria for about 10minutes. I was lucky to not to have died and never again IVed coke after that. Or should i say ived a few times since that ;)
