Provigil

I just started taking Provigil. I used to be on Dexedrine, Adderall and Ritalin for ADD. Has anyone else have any experience with Provigil? I take 400 mg daily. Any replies or experiences would be greatly appreciated.

My experience with it is brief. My doctor used to give me samples of it a year or so back. I couldn't afford to buy it at the time because I didn't have insurance. The doctor gave it to me to kind of counter the sedative effects of the methadone I was on. It gave me lots of energy and would keep me up for days. I love it, actually. Another thing it did was a sexual side effect... it would cause me to have multiple orgasms, and as a guy, that's a niffty little effect.:D

I take 400 mgs daily too, for about the past year. Side effects I've noticed are twitchy toes, that's about it. It was prescribed for fatigue and it helps tremendously. Its no use really to take a bunch in hopes of getting high or extra pepped up; this is the kinda stuff that gradually builds up in your system and works best over time.

Don't expect the "high" to kick in like Adderall or other amphetamine does. Provigil is alot smoother... OxyC actually has some good info on this. If it's okay, (if not, mods delete this os let me know), here is a link from another site where we discussed this:
