Best Way to Clean your Works?

I know you really shouldn't ever use needles more than once. But if you have to, What is the best ways to sterilize them to get them the cleanest? I have been seperating the plungers and barrels, and letting them soak in almost boiling water. I also draw up some of that Hot water into the barrell and squirt it out a few times to clean out the actual needle part. Then I pull and push on the plunger a bunch of times to try to get all the moisture out. I keep them in a tuppawear container that I have also boiled. Does this sound at least somewhat sufficient? Should I be adding a little bleach to the hot water? Are there any better ways to do this? Thanks?

Oh just to share... One time I had one needle left which was bent to shit. It was curved beyond the shape of a fish hook. Almost curved in a full circle. I didn't want to bend it back, in fear it would snap and I'd be shit out a luck. So I stuck this shit in my arm a quarter inch a way from my vein, and had to twist it into my vein from the side instead of directly above. It was a tiny vein too. Thank God it registered and my shot came threw! Its Just crazy thinking about what we/I put ourselves/myself through for our/my Junk.:)

high heat will dull the needle (autoclave or boiling) but at least it's sterile. best way is the methods hospitals use (plasma or amprolene. amprolene doesnt sterilize through proteins (like blood) though. so i'd say boiling is best bet. other people might have some good methods too. least your being safe!!!

You can pretty much use any ridiculously old rig you need to in a pinch. But nothing is better than a nice fresh one!

When necessary I used these germicidal pads I borrowed on my last visit to the hospital in combination with near boiling water. I can’t seem to find a pic and it’s about time to stock up again other wise id post one. There pretty common place though. so im not sure why.

Rinse 3 times with bleach then 3 times with water. (Though I would probably rinse a few more times with water just to make sure all the bleach is gone)

EXACTLY what I was about to say, these were the directions on cleaning needles at the needle exchange. But dam I would bend that needle right back "STR8" I have had them break off in my leg, alot easier to get out, anyway I sometime use needles about a month old and take me 20-30 pokes till I hit a vein, but lately I been buying paks of ten and banging it in my COCK, NICE VEIN THERE.:D

Good: u guys just reminded me to call the needle xchange... I forget their days...answering machine tho...they always look like they're about to fold, but good guys...but they are not the most popular "cause" around, as all the religious "leaders" hate them...for all the obvious stupid reasons, which I"ll spare u....
