Heres a link I thought Id put up for you guys and perhaps save you a few collapsed veins. Just click "The Right Hit" and watch the instructional videos

Good good advice.
One tip that I'd like to share, for getting veins to come out when they are alittle bit hard to see, is this: Do a few reps, like 10 or so, with a dumbbell. The weight should be enough so that you have to strain just a little bit to make the last reps. That way, your veins in the forearm, hand, bicep and elbow really come out good.

Thanks for posting that link. Clean Needles Now is a great exchange for anyone living in and around Los Angeles. The are really caring and compassionate there and will help with anyone needing referrals for medical care or other issues related to injectors.
I have myself assisted there a few years back, while working on a research project and the staff and other volunteers are great.
They have recently been getting harrassed by the cops. Apparently the cops hang out and are stopping people coming out of exchange. As long as you have the card they give you at exchange, your safe. Tip: Don't bring your gear with you to exchange. Except to echange any old needles for new. There is an attorney on staff and for anyone busted with paraphenelia, she will assist you.
I am planning on posting some links in the near future. I have been meaning to do so, but have been backed up with work.
If anyone has any questions, just ask or PM anytime.

Cops like that deserve to get needle stuck from a junkies pocket.

Cool link with good info. SWIM bought himself some syringefilters on ebay. He will report how it goes.
It sucks that cops do such shit. See this proofes perfectly, that it is not about helping the people, but only about having action for the cops and having a good catching-statistic for the officials. Sucks.
