i just gotta post this
i just got outta county jail
for "resisting arrest without violence"
but really for refusing to roll over on a specific person
which is gayer than 8 guys fucking 9 guys
i was hauled in
and told i would be given a ticket and left to go
on my merry little way
...IF...
me: am i under arrest?
cop: damn straight you are
me: then don't i have the right to remain silent?
cop: no, you have the right to go to COUNTY!!!
me: so what else is new?

i think the person i didn't snitch on
owes me at least a 50 bag
i sat in that bitch for 2 weeks

not expecting feedback
just wanted to get my story out there...

Yeah, most places they can keep u 72 hrs, or longer if it's a weekend, without any charges, arrests, or anything, so they don't have to "miranda" you, or any of that shit...most junkies, like me, have seen to much t.v., and vaguely think we have all kinds of right, we don't, practically speaking, have, and the cops know damn well we don't have the kind of money to fight them in court, for "constitutional" violations, so they do pretty much what they please.

Especially, with newer junkies, they know that most will "snitch" especially after about 24 hrs in a holding cell, so it's a "tactic," and horrible, but part of the life.... I found California in old days, they had more repect for inmate's rights than they do now...and when I got to Louisiana, and was thrown in jail, they laughed when I mentioned "right" or "law library,"... they know we aren't going to do shit...it's when u find out what yer made of, I guess...and of course, whether or not this "junky life" is really such a good idea.

The flip side, like out here in Orange County, back in "the day," I used to get picked up a lot, and u get to where u always seem to know guys in jail, and it's like "old home week," and not that terrible...like anything, u get used to it, learn the ropes...and thank god we have sort of a built in forgetter, when it comes to pain....cuz as soon as I would get out, I'd go right back to it.....

Glad yer out and all right, Shelly

I just spent 30+ days because they "lost" my community serv hours...My lawyer "found" those in another folder in the prob office so they set me free.......

Only the clerk of court lost my papers so I spent 3 extra days until my lawyer threatned a law suit.

FUCK THE POLICE, FUCK CO's, FUCK THE WHOLE FUCKING SYSTEM.....
