does it matter how much GFJ youdrink (obviously not a teaspoon or a whole gallon.)


how much GFJ do you drink to potentiate? i'm not talking about other potentiators just GFJ.

my wife is gobbling hydros post op and may call doc for something stronger but until then.

tell me your gfj experiences.

I drink white Grapefruit juice with pretty much every pill i take lol. I love w/grapefruit juice and drink it on a regular basis with or without pills, so does my Grandma, we've never had any problems. But, i know there are a few antibiotics that you should NOT drink grapefruit juice with period, but i for which they are. I wouldn't worry to much about it, if anything it cleaning her out good.

PS... it's good for your skin too, keeps it nice and clear. When i have a brakeout, which is rare, i drink some w/grapefruit juice and it clears up.

i gave her soma and her vics last night she slept three hours.

i subbed the soma for flexerils and it works 100 times better.

While swim was taking vics, she drank about 1-1.5 glass of gfj right after ingesting the pills. Not much difference, but some potentiation did occur, the feeling was as though 1-2 extra pills were consumed (of course, depending on the amount originally taken).

I only like the pink kind. I do notice some effect but am I missing out on even more effect by not going for the real stuff? I guess I could make myself like it...I've had worse! Anyone know?

I used white grapefruit juice to potentiate my methadone dose before I was able to get adequately dosed. I drank about 12 to 16 oz - also would take a couple Tagamet (Cimetadine) - which is also supposed to potentiate. It did seem to help. Not a whole lot, but a little.

I tried the GFJ thing, and to my suprise, it does work!

I drank a full glass of white with one and a half oxy 30s...and it felt like I took about twice that dose (which I often do.)

I didn't place a lot of stock in, and GFJ is kind of expensive...so I was apprehensive. What a nice suprise!

But good luck finding fresh white GFJ at any local store sure as hell aint any around here. Red works good enough & it's worth the money for sure.

I'd drink a tall, 12 oz glass of the white GFJ 45mins before dosing. I noticed some, but minimal effects w/ pods (I'd also drink another glass w/ the grounds mixed in it)... but w/ Oxy's!! There was a very noticeable difference. I'd also parachuted Kadians, whole battalions at a time, and the effect was noticed and appreciated! :D

I'd imagine w/ pods having codeine in them... the GFJ wouldn't allow it to metabolize, which may be the reason. Or just having such a long half-life... Who knows...

White GFJ is always in concentrate form it seems, not popular enough to sell cold next to the OJ like the red....so the point of using white gfj unless you can find it in the fridge area (non concentrate) more than defeats the purpose. Fresh red is likely stronger than concentrate white, but f you can find 'em fresh, white is the way to go.

I drink eight ounces with one shot of 100 proof vodka 30 minutes before dosing then one more, exactly the same, chugged with the pilld.

Very nice, very noticable difference.
