A friend sent me this article to read today. It's about the drug Scopolamine, which is comes from Jimson Weed. Anyway, I had no idea that anything like this was going on, nor had I ever heard of this particular drug until now. bah-they never post any good trip reports of datura! i submitted to erowid 9 years ago when that was new and they never posted my report.

jimsonweed is erratic as hell-as far as one person barely trips, the next trips balls. in my experince Datura Metaloids or Inoxia is easyer to gauge. i had about 5 thornapples in a bottle of wine ( of jimsonweed or Datura Stromontium) and drank-ate about 4/5 -now i had done other daturas and also Belladonna Atropa ( deadly nightshade) many times so perhaps i had a tolerance, but i let this black guy have the last 1/5 th or so and he tripped his ass off while i was pretty borderline sober :P

with inoxia or meteloids 2-3 leaves and one or two MAX pods can be cut up fine and thrown in a coffee pot, make coffee over it....then when cups are divvied up make sure everyone gets equal amount of floating vegtable matter. 2-3 people will trip pretty good on this amount.

or eating 2 big leaves, or about 2 inches of NASTY GODAWFUL root.

the main problum is it takes 4 hours to fully kick in, then about four hours of peak, then 4-6 of comeing down slowly. So stupid kids eat more after half a hour....then more in a hour......then off to the hospital poisoned lol. u also need a babysitter. ive gotten about 30+ people tripping, also acted as babysitter-no one ever went to the hospital....the biggest reason as i hid the plant bag and stopped people from eating more then they needed. its funny shit-guy was talking to his dog-only it wasent there, invisable cigaretts....one kid seen everyone looked like big-headed aliens and could jump and hide behind lamposts like on loony-toons.
my crazyist fucking trip was alot of d.inoxia and Shrooms at the same time.......my fuggin god,lol

my point is is that erowid, and others all have negitive crap out there about the Datura-or tropanes. its becuse its a unforgiveing drug....u gotta be paitent and not eat like a pig-but alot of stuff they have out is urban-myth crap-like the same bullshit they used to scare people away from PCP with......
