We discussed this a few months ago and the concensus was cheese is aimed at kids.I think someone from Texas said it was H mixed with aspirin and was popular amongst high school kids.

From what I remember, "cheese" is a tiny bit of dope mixed with crushed up tylenol pm's. It's really popular with the Mexican kids in TX. That there's candy mixed in is an urban legend. I don't know what moron would want this since there's so little dope in it, but whatever floats your boat, I guess....

i JUST HEAR THIS FOR THE 1RST TIME & I saw it last night on CSI,so never hearing of cheese is why I brought this up, but in the show they crushed it w/candy to flavor it for kids, so if the real deal is w/tylinal p.m. how is it consumed, and why if it is cut w/asperin made for the kids?

Yup! You are exactly right. It started here in Dallas. It is black tar cut with tylenol PM and the dealers are pushing it to elementary and junior high school age kids. It is actually pretty sad to see on the news or hear about a bunch of 10 and 11 year olds OD'ing or hear about 10 or 11 year olds addicted to H. I started using opiates when I was young - but jesus...Not that young! It is bad news though. There have been a whole bunch of kids OD'ing and they are charing the dealers with murder. Crazy shit - that's for sure!!!

If adults want to do dope, that's fine. Selling to kids is fucking disgusting.

Drug dealers are typically a little sharper and go where the money is. Lunch money ain't gonna cut it. Simple risk-to-reward. Propaganda at it's finest.

Lunch money ain't gonna cut it.

Around here, the schoolkids have WAY more money than the rest of us poor slobs. Some of the biggest busts are taking place at junior high and high schools.

Thats what I'm talking about them dealers only hit the schools in the rich burbs b/c in the gettho the kids just walk out and there it is, anyway these kids these days can get un limited amount of money if they really want it, mom "i want a playsataion 3' or ipods, them dealers are smart & making not lunch money but big buks, it can yurn into a project meaning the school, but a clean rich place, scratch that project b/c I meant that as in the projects u just walk out ur door and there be about 5 diff dealer w/diff dope selling out side ur door.

If you are implying that this is just "made up" anti-drug propaganda, you are way wrong. This is very real and there have been over twenty OD deaths of real children under 18 years old in the city of Dallas alone in the past eight months. It is not "made-up" and it is not anti-drug propaganda.

I didnt see this particular episode for myself. My thought came from the original post mentioning the combination of candy and narcotics, which IMO is symbolic of typical anti-drug propaganda that I've seen before. The combo of candy and drugs seems like somebody is targeting an innocent age group who doesn't know exactly what they are getting.

ya i dont think the "cheese dope" on CSI has anything to do with the actual cheese, unless they are just dumb or maybe the real cheese (like 2-8% heroin and the rest tylenol PM) has some kind of copyright on the ingredients haha. (sarcasm)

"Cheese" is heroin cut with tylenol PM. It was marketed to younger kids and advertized as "cheese" because the word HEROIN is so taboo it turns potential customers away immediately. I remember when I was 15 years old some dealers in my neighborhood were selling crack but they called it "mo" and implied it was something other then crack cocaine. It worked, and a bunch of kids in my high school were buying and smoking "mo" and word spread that "mo" was some "new" drug.

I remember being the only one telling everbody they weren't smoking ANYTHING other then CRACK! I couldn't convince half of them...either that or they didn't want to beleive it???

Oh well, I told em all to have fun smoking their "Mo". I was doing PCP, acid and heroin anyway. I never liked crack all that much.

I was just trying to let everyone know that this is really happening here in Dallas and that it is not just a bullshit urban legend or anything like that. I know when I initially told people 10 or 12 months ago that the local dealers were cutting tar with tylenol PM and selling it to elementary school kids, they thought that this was just a rumor or that it was bullshit anti-drug propaganda. No one believed that it was really happening.

As for the candy being added, I have heard of different dealers adding dye to "their" (the specific dealer's) cheese in order to identify it as being a superior brand (instead of a stamp) or whatever, but I don't know for sure about the candy. Cheese is snorted and I had heard that it wasn't actually candy mixed in with the tar and tylenol PM but a sweet flavoring of some kind. But I don't know that for sure...that is just what I have heard. But the dye is happening for sure.

All I know is that this cheese shit is bad news. Because they are selling it to such young kids, it has obviously resulted in a large number of OD deaths. Then the police started charging a lot of H dealers with murder for selling cheese and Dallas PD has been targeting all H like crazy. They are not just targeting dealers that are selling cheese to kids but they are targeting ALL dealers dealing ALL H - both powder and tar. This has reduced the supply and driven prices up a little bit. So needless to say, no one likes the idea of these douche bags selling cheese to little kids.

I can recall when I was 15-16 a friend of mine and I would occasionally buy blunts off of some black kids in our town. We would smoke one and within 20 minutes we would want to buy another. We finally heard that they were putting crack in the blunts. More likely powdered coke not that I think about it.

It's the only time I can recall fiendin for pot. Shortly after that, one of our friends learned how to cook red phosphorus meth and we no longer had any use for crack or pot for that matter. I'm glad I moved away when I was 18 before I got too deep into that scene.

Cheese/chiva/whateverthefuckyoucallit = diphenhyramine (in tyenol PM, or alone in OTC sleep aids) and a bit of heroin ... cheap way to ensure future business? .. hell, if it were me (but I'm not that kind of a sick SOB who would sell to kids) I'd give them a business card to my enemy hoping they'd give it to the cops..
