Nasal Spray question... [Archive]

A friend of mine called me and told me he had some duragesic's for sale. I have never had these before and only gotten the sandoz gels. Are these patches also gel so I can make my spray? Quick replies appreciated.

Duragesic is the name brand and yes, it is gel

Yes, but I have the 50mcg/hr patches and can't the spray to work. So far I have the gel from 2 used patches and 1/5 of a new 50mcg patch in 1.5oz of water in a nasal bottle and do not get much out of it. I spray and spray and spray and get a minor buzz for 15 minutes and then thats it :(.

Any thoughts on what I'm doing wrong. I hope this works for you!

Fent is very shorting acting. That's why the patch is releasing a dose every hour. I remember when I had my elbow surgery, they gave me Fent after I woke up in recovery and that shot only lasted about 30 minutes for pain relief.
