I set up that mIRC chat for the site nearly a year ago...then, when you upgraded you put in the chat module...it was sweet! What happened? people abuse it? Not use it? Anyway, there are some of us who need some commaradery...I am happty to help with anything on the site...especially now that I am once again out of work....I am placing this in a thread instead of PM'ing in hopes that others will feel the same way and voice their need/want of a way to commmunicate with others in a real time environment. Let me know what's up. And any o-philers out there who will UTILIZE this feature PROPERLY, voice your opinions!!!

By the way, it is nearly impossible to find opiate-based channels on mIRC servers....when I start rooms....noone joins.....so I am going to keep starting channels and hope others find me.....peeeps, please PM me if you are interested!

Yeah bro the opio chat was sadly abused.....so it went the way of the dinosaurs.

There is I think an unofficial opio chat that Woo Woo set up,check Woo's posts and you might find a link,but I don't know if it's still going.

Get mIRC...then,
join abjects server......(I think all the cannels on their servers show up no matter which one you are on.....so this should not be an issue)
search for #SomniGod
then type:
join #SomniGod

if you see me at the top of the current users list (on your right), then u are at the right place.

being that I can not sleep, I will hear you join in the channel.....the laws and rulez of servers change all the time, so if you connect to the server, join the channel and DON'T see me, then PLEASE PM me here so that I can change my methodology and give everyone the opportunity to chat. Thanks to all who help in this endeavor.

Hey Somni - I'd like to chat with ya sometime - don't know if you remember me or not - I haven't used IRC or mIRC and don't really know much about it; maybe you can help me get it set up though there's probably not much to it - anyway - thought I'd also take the opportunity to say hey - haven't seen ya 'round in awhile now. If I had the means, I'd host a bot on the channel to do the kicking/banning/ops/etc. Not like that would solve takeovers, but it would keep the channel alive.
