Wow, a cartridge unit? Looking at that package makes my stomach churn. I had some similar boxes of injectables quite awhile ago - what I would give to get those back...

I shot some buprenex way back in 2000 and it didn't do shit. I wasn't taking enough! 0.3 mg doesn't do anything, 'cept for pain.

a .3 injectable ampule of buprenorphine took care of my opiate withdrawls in about 5 minutes. I also felt a sort of rush, clean and "tinny" if that makes sense to anyone. but maybe the rush I felt was more the relief of withdrawl rather than a rush of euphoria .....or is there really a difference?

I ended up injecting something like 5 of those ampules that next day.

by day three I no longer was really feeling the buprenorphine. I think day 4 I took up the drug of choice again.

if I am taking subutex orally I make a water/10% ethanol solution and dilute the pill powder with this liquid , then I drop the equivalent to 200 micrograms of the drug and wait and see, drip a little more, wait and see. this way I have avoided doing too much subutex the first day, which can have some serious side-effects on me.

I'm not a big fan of needles, but I'm not afraid of them either; for pain control reasons, I wouldn't mind having these in the back end of my emergency stash box :cool:

Whats your take on fentanyl or Talwin inj. for pain?

My experience has been that these do very little for pain. I had them way back when, from a Pain doc who was interested in the results, and I was not very happy. Might be nice to have around for "times of need" though.

Fent is great for pain. But, you gain a tolerance very quickly, and it's eficacy seems to dwindle; especially IV.
