Oxy/Hydro compared to heroin?

From reading these and many other forums, I know that there are many many daily Oxy/Hydro users, many of whom get them on the black market.
As I live in the UK, I haven't tried either of these and was wondering-
a) Do many people chose oxy/hydro over heroin, and if so is it a price thing or do these people prefer them to heroin?
b) Can people who've used oxy, hydro and heroin, describe and compare them?

Almost all people that have used heroin would choose dope over pharms any day. Exceptions are if the person doesn't want to do H because it's "SO BAD" so they pop oxys instead. Geniuses. H is usually cheaper and the best bang for the buck. Basically if the person has tried all three theres not much of a chance that the person would prefer taking oxycodone or hydrocodone.

Sure. Oxycodone is known to be more potent than hydrocodone. They both feel very similar to me. The euphoria, stimulation, warm blanket feelings are all there. I personally prefer hydrocodone to oxycodone. Hydro just gives me a more profound sense of well-being. Diacetylmorphine is so much more potent then the other two. It just feels SO much more powerful. Taking H via IV hits you like a train going 200mph. One second you're normal, then after a few more seconds your entire world turns into paradise. You sit back, start laughing histerically because you feel so damn amazing. Your entire body is tingling like there are multiple orgasms spreading all throughout your bones and limbs. You are more sensitive to the touch. Music sounds deeper and more clear. You are in the music. Everything is ALLLRIGHT and there is not a care in the world. If you are nodding, every few seconds you close your eyes, while feeling an intense state of relaxation and euphoria. Think of napping on a bed at night during a cold winter while in a warm room, with a cosy, warm blanket, feeling like you are floating on a cloud while being near the fireplace while it is snowing outside. Not the best description, but fits it somewhat. Finally, think of feeling so incredible and high, that you don't desire any more H or even any other drugs. Just maybe ice cream or sex.

Hydrocodone & Oxycodone are great opioids, however they are no where near as potent as H.

Hydrocodone loses it's flavor rather quickly in that tolerance develops and the high almost disappears completely (at least for myself and a few others I know). It IMO is substantially more euphoric than codeine or any of the other weak or partial agonists. It is the 1st level euphoric pharmaceutical opiod in the states (keep in mind that codeine and everything weaker has never given me a buzz let alone euphoria).

Oxycodone is one of the most euphoric opioids in existance...at least it seems like it is for a while. It also begins to lose it's flavor as tolerance develops (as with all opies) just not nearly as quickly as hydro. Oxycodone is also very stimulating for many people (myself included) in that you have a very energetic, talkative, productive almost speedy high. I attribute this to the fact that oxy is derived from thebaine which (correct me if I'm wrong) although is toxic displays stimulant properties.

Once you start using strong opiates/opioids both hydro and oxy seem to lose the punch they once had. I used to absolutely LOVE OC's before I started fucking with Morph, H, & fent, more often. After a few months of using the 3 named opies regularly I got my hands on some oxy's, ate my usual 40mg (which I used to get a rush from...I would go from 0 to glowing like the sun within a few minutes of the oxy kicking in) & I felt NOTHING. I then continued to keep both chewing up and eating as well as snorting until I got up to 6 fucking pills before I was satisfied. I now have to eat 8 40's (320mgs) to get a nice glow...but now it only lasts an hour or less and no longer has the same level of euphoria.

Damn I'm ranting...anyway to answer your questions:

1. Yes some people do prefer oxy/hydro to H...usually because they've never done H. Either that or they've not done H long enough for the hydro/oxy to lose their euphoric qualities...but if they do keep fucking with H they will. Hydro and oxy (especially oxy) both are FAR more expensive than H, so it's definitely not a price thing.

2. Hydro is light, warm, stimulating. It's short acting and is not strong enough to cause a nod. Oxy is much like hydro, just stronger and MUCH more stimulating (at least to myself & a few others I know) & will definetely cause a nod for a while. H is much warmer, much more euphoric, much more sedative, & much longer lasting IMO. Plus with H it seems as though you can get much higher than you'd be able to on other opies (such as oxy/hydro) but you still experience less negative side effects that come with high dose of other opies.

I've never done oxymorphone or hydromorphone but of all of the opiates/opioids I feel H is by far the best.

Yeah I'd much rather choose good 'ol smack over OCs and hydros anyday lol. Well first of all hydro wont give me the slightest buzz anymore(even did a cwe on 120mg so i guess i got around 80mg in me and felt nothing but a headache like feeling lol). But oxy is pretty dman good high. I'd still choose smack any day. Man hydro shouldn't even be listed unless you're talking about taking oxy/hydro together... that is if that smack is good and not cut up shit of course!

compare ? compare apples and oranges, not to beat my chest but nothing compares to H ive got 35 yrs in since i first did H and ive done almost everything never done oxy but lots of percocets , from black tar to nam white and thai white in the pure form. street fent to fent patches , shot cod to dies , meth maint to meth detox . darvon 65 to darvon N 100s , and there is no "best H " its all good the difference in the highs is like the differences in good weed sativa or indica pick your day$

Sorry, from my question, it sounded like I was asking for a description of heroin also. I was just after info on the oxy/hydro buzz.

I hear a lot of folks say that Hydro and Oxy feel about the same, but that's not been my experience. I started off with Codeine and absolutely loved it at the time. Now I just get an allergic reaction to it because I have to take so much to even feel anything, so I don't do Codeine anymore. But, on to the question at hand. I used to get both Hydro and Oxy and basically nothing else. I thought the Hydro was great, but after I started getting Percodans I realized that Oxy was MUCH better. To me they are like night and day, and I've even noticed that withdrawal is totally different between the two. Now that I've been through a Methadone maintenance, then switched to Morphine several months ago, I can't even feel Hydro anymore. I dare say that, if I had a bottle of Hydro pills I'd have to do a CWE on them so as not to ingest many grams of Acetominophen. Last time I tried them I took 3 7.5's and didn't feel anything at all, even with a few beers in me. The last time I had OC's, I didn't like the feeling at all, and it was completely different from what I remembered with the Percodan. Nowadays, Oxycodone makes me feel strange; I sweat and itch profusely, my skin gets clammy cold, and all I want to do is come down. Suffice to say that I wouldn't touch the stuff again unless I was in serious withdrawal and that was all I could get. Even then I'd take just enough to alleviate the sickness, I can't stand the feeling from Oxy anymore. Besides, Morphine fucking ROCKS!

^^ The funny thing I noticed is users of oxycontin usually dislike morphine and think it's "weak." Most of the time they don't realize that oral morphine is a waste. If they actually snort, plug, IM, or IV morphine I don't see why they would dislike it.. Maybe it's too strong for them? Maybe it is too sedating? I've been thinking about that one lately.

Nothing compares to H,morphine is fantastic,like most here hydro doesn't really do anything-you're better off doing a couple of shots(liquor)percs work good for me and methadone.Of course xanax and others are usually in the mix plus a couple beers so what the f-ck do i know
