Thats the question, as far as I know it wont, but according to my friends doctor it will. As far as I know the test that needs to be clean is a cup test that looks specifically for morphine. Any thougts?

I know they do have a test for buprenorphine, however buprenorphine is not included in most of the common panel tests (up to the 10): http://www.craigmedical.com/drug_test_10.htm

Someone would want to specifically test for such things, and I do see this (http://www.easy-tests.com/acatalog/Multi_Panel_Cassette.html), a test for Methadone and Bup. Kind of an upsetting thing; to test users for buprenorphine. I mean, what IF someone is trying to abuse it? So what? Good fucking luck, I think all of us here who are on the shit have done what we can to prove that ain't gonna happen.

Testing for buprenorphine.... BOOOOOOOOO!

I hereby officially do not offer my services to employers who test for buprenorphine. Ye all be fucked.

I don't think it'll cause a positive test, but it's different when it's YOU who have to take the test. You don't want to be wrong.

a-friggin-men. There is absolutely no reason at all to test for this. Even if they did, man, isn't this fucking discrimination? Workers with disabilities and whatnot? I can understand if you work with heavy machinery or drive(even though not really) but that should be illegal

Thanks for the replies, anybody else have an opinion or had to take drug test while on buprenorphine and failing, not a test specifically for buprenorphine, but a standard opiate drug test.

http://biz.yahoo.com/bw/060103/20060103005056.html?.v=1 I posted this link in the testing section, seems that employers don't look for buprenorphine unless it is specifically requested that it is screened for. This company just made it easier for an employer or potential employer to "make it so".
