Hey,
I was wondering if Morphene is givin by a Doctor. I have severe pains at times. My Doc. is pretty liberal at hydro doesn't always work. I don't know much about Morphine or what it does. Anything? Thank you!

Sure,your doc can rx M in many forms-if he wants.M is stronger than hydro and MORE ADDICTIVE.

Well, #1: my guess would be that your dr. is liberal with the Hydro's because they are still a C-III drug and much more commonly RX'd
#2: Morphine is quite nice (though the dry-mouth is hell). The problem is the oral bioviability is crap (only like 40% or so is absorbed after the first pass metabolism) so if you do by some chance convince your doc to RX it, you'll have to consider an alternate ROA (i.e. plugging). And most people I know that have Morphine RX'd to them have the MS Contin which is the time release crap.
My guess would be, if you've been getting hydro and it's not working, you most likely will be switched to Oxycodone/APAP (Percocet) at best.

It's not like that man.I kicked and was clean for months........then I started drinking.
I'm only on 80ml of IV M these days.Which is a fraction of my old habit and to be honest a smaller habit makes life easier.
However,I can go back to diamorphine whenever I want and.................man it's just a question of time and that kinda honesty hurts.

Me, I'd be angling for "the other hydro"=hydro*morphone*, the beloved dilaudid, which is stronger than morpine, much easier to slam than mscontin, and...and well, all kinds of things...but it too, is a waste if swallowed....but *sometimes* u can find a doc willing to perscribe dilaudids, since I find them nowadays to not see every dilaudid perscription as "just going to junkies." I think they are more suspicious of requests for oxycontin, myself...on the other hand, if I *were* just going to eat it, I'd probably just as soon angle for oxycontin if I could...or tell him u gag real easy, when trying to swallow pills, and tell'em u heard of this sucker u can lick on, and maybe u''ll get some fentanyl...who knows, gotta think like a cat: "It never hurts to ask," and maybe you'll receive the same "reward my neighbor's cat gets when I can catch the evil bastard: a good stiff shot of air up the butt...sorry, getting off topic. But catching "Tabby" and "pumping" him has become tougher now that he knows what's in store...the bitch has already been castrated, too, or maybe I could add that to my list of "helpful hobbies."

Sorry man, I did think you had kicked for your kid(how is the lil' critter?), but I wasn't sure cause then you mentioned the Morphine later. 80ml? So thats a liquid measurement, how many milligrams of drug are in each ml? And yea, i'm sure it is tempting to go back to the better rush, I can only offer kind words and wishes in that area.

Hah, watch they dont try to feed young Milly some pot-infused milk. They made well and sure that I was eating my beef, thats for certain; and constantly checked the cupboards to make sure my mum was not malnourishing me.

Ok, back again. So after all this info (some confusing), "good buzz", Hydro, Oxy, Fentinyl and taking it the easy way, pill or "sucker?" someone had said? I don't know how to do all the other methods of taking meds.

The coolest advice I can give you is.........tell your doc what you told us.Be honest with him.
Oh and just stick to swallowing your meds.
