i have an idea: while wandering through the web, i came across sites with "penpals" from all over the world looking to practice their english and make friends, etc.

what if they could also stop by their local pharmacy and pick up a few items for me - purely in the interests of humanitarian good nature of course.

anybody ever try it?

i remember going to a pharmacy in the philippines and had my girlfriend just translate for me to get "pain relief" lotion for my sunburn. no questions asked. if only i had her address today.

my bet is some of those places would sell their grandmother for $20.

Heh... I've read a lot about Laudanum but never had it. Supposedly it makes ya dream since it's a tincture of opium, but I just can't imagine ever dreaming of a Filipino grandmother. Hell, from some of the Filipinos I've seen, I can barely imagine dreaming of a teenage Filipino girl! (You know how most of them have those bizarre facial features?) Although I HAVE seen a few who were bad to the fucking bone. ONLY a few.

That is a VERY interesting idea and I think you should try it.

Only thing about it is that the mail that you pen pal sends you would still have to come through customs, wouldn't it? Maybe not if it's just a letter? I don't remember having to put a customs declaration on some mail I sent overseas one time a few years ago (to a friend staying in Europe).

ya, zoop, customs "could" be on the package like stink on s**t. but there are ways around that. from what i know, if they confiscate a package, they send a letter saying you have to pick it up in person. just ignore the letter, and it's over (they keep it, i get nothing for a first offense).

gmorris, laudanum was 50% morphine - and sold as a "cure-all" patent med. no wonder they called 'em the 'roaring '20's'. AND, beg to differ, but those LBFM's (little brown f**king machines) were worth every penny too (literally) when i was in the navy. even the fat man had a "date" in those days.

There's still a solid trade in pills, but most obviously shaped/scented materials are not smart to be sending. The technology to detect them has greatly improved, as has the political will and the funding behind it.

Now THAT is good to know. It's strange though, I don't know how the USPS would identify something as sketchy if it was just some pharms/pkillers mixed in with other legal tablets/etc in a health food store pill bottle for example?!

I have a little insight on what Somni is talking about. Be very fuckin careful when mailing illegal items via USPS or any other delivery method. Im sure a lot of us have gotten away with it on more than 1 occassion, but I also know that with the web and so many people meeting eachother this way, busts are going to be more common now.

If for any reason you HAVE TO mail someone something, than for god's sake, USE CASH PEOPLE!!!! Dont use your fuckin credit card. Cause if they intercept it, they are obviously going to track you down very easily. Also, always use a return address, even if its not your own, just put one down there. This will make the package look more legit.

And last but definitley not least, if a package gets to you and the postman is asking you to open it in person for any reason, tell him to go finger his mother. A regular postman will never ask you to do this, if you dont open it, than they have nothing on you. There is no way they can prove that you were actually waiting for this certain package. Just state that you have enemies everywhere, and this is just an attempt to fuck you over.

NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER ADMIT TO ANYTHING!!!! A lot of times they are just fishing, waiting for you to bite the bait. Pigglets are great at persuading you into guiltiness.

seems plausible. i think all of the warnings here are good to look into, but it is definately still possible to have pills shipped from overseas. SWIM just recieved something from argentina, some pills, that came through just fine. he had no trouble at all and hasn't for some time. there are forums out there (like drugbuyers.com) where they talk about customs' "love letters" and it appears that while things can be siezed, penalties don't seem to be an issue (probably difficult/not worth the trouble to build a chain of evidence). i absolutely would never listen to a "postman" telling me to open something. many of the overseas pharmacy places have policies in place to resend pills in case the customs siezure thing happens. i think it's definately doable with a little care (good packaging makes a big difference).

getting pills from overseas is fairly safe as long as your supplier is reliable/legit....at worst, you get a "love letter" from Customs and that's the end of it. they just seize and destroy the package, you never hear anything about it ever again.

Domestic shipments, provided they aren't obvious trouble-magnets like stinky marijuana or typical black market fare like coke/meth (and probably H) that can be sniffed out by dogs or detector machines.....are safe as long as they're sent by USPS. There are laws against observing the contents of a USPS package in any way, something that UPS-Fedex-DHL et al. are NOT bound by. If you're sending ostensibly legal pills, just put them in some herbal supplement bottle, put some cotton in there so they don't rattle, ship it via USPS, and don't worry about it!

As long as Herr Bush continues to implement domestic spying, including seizure of international mail (do some google... there's already been some of this) I would avoid this at all costs.

Yah they have weird facial features. Large teeth, monkeyish features. No offense i'm not a racist. I just think Their faces are a little odd, they look like they are from the jungle thats for sure. They have huge mouths and big jaws. The women aren't my type but there are some good looking filipino women but a few of them have that weird jaw mouth thing going on. The beautiful ones are usually really hot......so it makes up for some of the ugly ones All races are beautiful in their own ways. Filipino's are just as good looking as Malaysians or Americans. Filipino's probably look nice to Filipino's and other people of asian descent. I am engaged to a jewish girl whom I love very much. Now you do have a point here, but keep in mind....customs seizures, unless massive, usually just result in a so-called "love letter" from customs to the recipient of the shipment asking whether they want to claim it.....if you don't respond, then the package is destroyed. that's it. no trouble involved, just lost money (unless the shipper is willing to resend via an alternative means).....

I recommend whatever is the most common, slow means of shipment your overseas supplier(s) offer. Things like International Speed Post are far more often subject to search and seizure.
