Just wondering that is indomethacin easily soluble in water. So does cold water extraction work with indalgin. 30mg indomethacine & 20 mg ethylmorphine.

Not sure. I think it isn't very water soluble.

There are other ways, at least said to work for indalgin. Some folks boil watersolution quicly and discard that yellow stuff (which gets on the top of solution).

Thanks for your answer, i´ve never heard about that method. I must try that right away. Indomethacin is known to be hazard for liver and my tolerance to opiates is quite high at the moment. Do you know what that yellow stuff is? Of course it must be indomethacin, but is there anything else? And do you know about the loss of ethylmorphine with that method, and could it be used i.v with that method? Or is ethylmorphine even possible to shoot safely? Lots of questions, But thanks anyway. That boiling method was enlightening.

i found the answer from merck 13

Table 4: The n value of the formulations containing drug type with D:P ratio of 1:4 and cross linker with D:P ratio of 1:2 and 1:4.

Formulation
n
Drug type

Caffeine 0.60

Acetaminophen 0.66

Theophylline 0.71

Salicylic acid 0.73

Indomethacin 0.98

Cross- linker

(1:4) 1.25
when I boiled the soution, quickly it just turned yellowish, the whole solution. Wonder what to do with that. Maybe the cold water extr. is better foer me. Ethylmorphine hydrocloride surely is water soluble.
