If you are worried, you could stuff some bubblewrap or cotton in the bottle to reduce rattling (because pills rattling in a bottle produce an unmistakable sound.)

as long as your shipping to and from inside usa you have nothing to worry about

I agree with the above statement. As long as your package doesn't have
an aroma that dogs would notice (Buds, cane, etc) you should be in good shape.
Of course, address the rattling issue so nobody is the wiser.

These statements are somewhat feasable. Also fed-ex, dhl, and ups are not government companies, so this has meant all along that things that absolutely positively should not be shipped ;) through good ole' USPS can be shipped through these above mentioned companies???(Exceptions on materials that carry an odor);)

Look at what NY State Attorney General did with Cigarettes UPS and FEDEX. No Shipments in or out of NYS. USPS is immune because they are a Federal Agency somehow getting around State Laws. It's President is different (Taxes with Indian Reservations) still scary to think what can be done. On top of that the USPS has a limit of 4 Cartons in a box. My Mailman has said he's seen Cigs confiscated.

If you are shipping internationally, regular international mail is much safer than UPS, Fed Ex or DHL. UPS and Fed Ex both have federal agents working in their midsts inspecting packages. Most people who ship do not realize this. EVen with pharms Fed Ex, UPS and DHL all increases the likelyhood of having problems with customs. Remember this applies with international delivery. Domestic should be fairly safe, depending on packaging and location.

its like anything else,as long as you go with the flow no one will know..but on adh they was talkin bout fedex dhl etc getting dea awards for working with the gov and aiding in the contradiction of drugs and so forth so i guess it doesn't always have to get there absolutley, positively have to get there without a problem:cool: do it?????

that number came out years ago when that stat was true and there bottom dollar is all they care about so the gov probably changed that but a smart enough package wrapped up the right way will do the trick but any of those agency's overnight would leave the least amount of time to bee seen

My understanding is that because FedEx and UPS are privately owned, they have the right to open and inspect any packages in their possession....you agree to that "search and/or seizure" when you send or receive packages through them.
USPS on the other hand, requires a warrant to open mail/packages.
Theoretically, UPS or FedEx could open your package, find something, then call LE ....OR.... LE could "ask" UPS or FedEx to open the pkg, then it wouldn't be an "unlawful" search.

All I do at work is deal with the mail system. Many times DHL and UPS will give packages to USPS to deliver packages for them when they are swamped with packages. The post office actually gets a kick out of the fact that people pay extra for UPS/DHL services when they end up going through USPS anyways.
.... And USPS has every right to open any package at any time to inspect it to be sure the contents are not harmful, also to make sure you are sending proper items with corect stamping (mailing something as media mail, when in fact its not a book or CD). They have done this to me SEVERAL times openening up my packages after I have already dropped off my packages.
....not to scare you about sending questionable items through the mail system, I'm just letting you know what I have learned with my job in the past year.

I am certain that not everyone follows the RULES, of course...:deal2: however, my point was mainly about what IS LEGAL as far as searches go; here's what I was trying to point out ~ part of the dissenting judge's opinion:
HEANEY, Circuit Judge, dissenting.
I respectfully dissent from section I.C. of the majority’s opinion. It is clear
from the record that Lee Edwards, a FedEx employee, only became involved in the
investigation of Smith’s package at the behest of the government, and only after the
government realized that it could not constitutionally undertake a further search of
the package without first obtaining a warrant. To allow the government to employ
private individuals to perform searches in a manner that the government itself legally
could not, does not conform to my concept of constitutionally acceptable conduct.
to that, my idealistic self says, "Amen, brother!" LOL !!:D
