I'm wondering how the members of this site feel about making opiophile.org unviewable to the public i.e. unregistered users, similar to TCC (somethingawful.com) or poppies.org forums (right?). The reasons for it are pretty obvious I think it just comes down to pros v. cons.
or does mandatory registration make a website more suspcious? I don't know, it's just something I've thought about recently.

I'm opposed...what the hell, if it hadn't been open, I wouldn't have stumbled on it. And I might as well speak for the countless people waiting right now for the adminstrator to finish signing them up, so they can post...many of them have been waiting for over a month...(just so you guys know you haven't been forgotten). And I'm glad they can at least *read* on here...and hopefully eventually Bi11i or some other admin will sign them up...People who want to know more about how addicts and opiate lovers really are, can sign up here...and I've been around a long time, and yet still have learned lots since signing up here...we don't need to be restrictive. If you want to see what sort of people restrictions attract, just go read some of the posts by the obvious anal retentives over at the physician's assistant website...it just shows how dummied down medical education has become in this country...
