what to do with all that residue?

so there are these 30mg ir MS pills out there, but they produce a lot of residue and it takes about 1cc of water per pill to keep the cotton from clogging horribly. then a guy wants to use 3 at once, that's 3ccs of water almost , so what if he wants to do 4 30's or more at once? It's hardly even possible or plausible considering the amount of water it takes to keep from clogging.

so my question is, is there a good way to extract the morphine out of these littles pills more efficiently than just mixing them in water to reduce the needed time to poke the arm? if so i'd like to hear some ideas, it could save a guys arm from bein terrible marked up .ie. if one were to do three pills, that's like 6 jabs or more to get almost full use of the pill:(

i've thought about putting 2ccs for maybe 4 pills then straining thru a shirt or something , however i know that wouldn't work out so good because all the liquid would get absorbed into the cloth, so i'm at a loss for ideas.

btw there is only access to 1cc rigs , so bigger ones isn't a possibility at this time

depending on what kind of MS pill it is, ill tell you the way i get mine ready. Just remember it could be different for you because it could be a different brand. Basically what i do is usually take a nice size spoon first, grab 2 MS 30's (cant really fit anymore then that on my spoon), crush up the 30's and place on the spoon, put about 1cc or maybe a bit more in the spoon and mix with your finger, mix for a good couple minutes to get most of the morphine out of it, then i take a lighter and move it under the spoon until it just about starts to boil, Now depending on the brand of the pill this parts going to be different. After you get it to a near boil some brands you will be able to just lift or push the goo to the side and it will stick together. Some other brands that i have tried are a bit more tricky and you have to just kinda clear a little area to put a cotton in and suck it up. Once you try it though you will understand what im talking about as long as your using a brand that i have used.

Basically the key is to heat up the mixture to separate the gunk from the water with morphine in it. Also remember you can take the gunky goo and repeat the whole process with a little more water to get any remaining morphine in there.

94accord, i know what you're talking about, and how this process works. i guess i wasn't clear enough in what i was asking, perhaps.. the process you're talking about is dealing with extended release (ER) MS pills. the ones i was referring to are instant release (IR), and there isn't a goo, nor is there any heat required to dissolve the item, just room temperature water does the trick and they dissolve within 60 seconds or so; however, there is left a residue (i figure to be the binding agent) to work around that is very fine and silty like (which flame doesn't affect, as had been tried, btw) substance that too annoyingly clogs up any kind of filter in use (q-tip, cotton, cigarette filer).

I know what you're referring to. Sometimes the ER pills are easier to inject than the IR pills...Who would've thunk?

My suggestion is to (unless you come up with a better way or someone posts a better way) is to just get some bigger rigs and some new individual needles. I know it takes a lot of water but if that's the only way, that's the only way.

I used to get the Watson hydromorphone 4mg pills and although they were instant release (and quite small) they still gelled up slightly and it took at least 1cc of water to dilute one pill and it still had difficulty drawing up. I knew there was nothing I could do so I just bought some bigger rigs and invested in good needles (Luer lok). Sure, it was a lot to inject but there was no other way. And to me, it was worth it because I would rather use 1cc of water and have the whole 4mg dilute in the solution than use 1/2cc of water and only a fraction of that active ingredient dilute. If 1cc is what it takes, that's what it takes.

Pills aren't made to be injected so at least be happy that you are at least able to get IR pills.

you know what they need to make, is like a rig that you can attach an oil funnel type thing to. then get a buddy to dump all that liquid in sort of like a hospital setup thing w/ the bag ; that'd be cool :D

I feel your pain, for a while all I could get were those little white 30mg pills....

I was never able to do more than 2 in one shot, though I'll look around and see what I can figure out. Extracting would really only be feasible if one had an abundance of those pills.....

oh sorry about the mix up. guess i didnt read well enough or something. But when it comes to bigger rigs you can always check like hardware/appliance stores. Some places will sell syringes for animals that you can use. I know a place where i live that sells them, but the smallest needle is 20g. So thats kinda a bitch. I have only used one once and it sucked and will not use it again, but i know some people that use them quite a bit for shooting methadone. The store by me has needle less syringes that will hold up to like 5cc maybe even more and then just get some needles to go with it. This info may or may not help you out, but figured it could not hurt. hope you can work out your problem.

94accord is right...Tractor Supply has many, many different syringe sizes and they also sell needles (though they don't guarantee sterility) and I have used those in very desperate times. I'm sure they wouldn't like me saying something like that. In fact, the entire time I was using Dilaudid I used 23g needles and regular syringes from the hospital.

Everytime I went in there and bought needles the cashier always looked at me funny. Now that I look back, they probably knew what I was doing but I didn't care and still don't.

Yes, they are made for animals but they can still be used in humans.

i kno a dude that used to shoot red methadone with a 20g needle that was old and used several times, it looked like a straw end , he would pull it out and bleed for at least an hour. why do people shoot methadone. good luck tho. u can order them offline too i forget the site, its on one of the threads.
