I think you heat the ethyldihydrocodeinone in a flux capacitor then add some tail light fluid, but I could be wrong.

How about de-methylating the hydrocodone w/ Hbr to make hydromorphone instead? hopefully u have NaOH, diethyl ether, and some NH4Cl lying around, and know about reflux and re-crystallization techniques.

Yes I know about the Hbr to make hydromorphone but that says to use ethyldihydrocodeinone not dihydrocodeinone if you read it all.That would make ethyldihydromorphone.You would then need to remove the ethyl to increase strength.I think the ethyl makes a difference to how the Hbr works.I can't find anything more on it.
