Jobs that dont drug test?

I was wondering what jobs even specific companies dont drug test. I know its a broad fucking statement as we have opiophiles from all over not just the US or where i live in particular. I have worked in the food industry .....like fucking subway and dunkin donuts, so i know fast food restraunts dont drug test, hell how could they ever afford to? But I want to get a job fixing computer's or building and modding cases. I've heard bestbuy drug tests as well as geek squad but i heard from a fellow smoker (im hardcore into weed is the reason i ask this question...i would need 3 to 4 weeks to piss clean shit you not) anyway he said circuit city doesnt drug test. Im sick of making people's sandwhiches and will soon have a degree in as a "network specialist" ( which itself i hate but at least proves i know computer home care at least) so the point of the question is, where have you worked that didnt drug test. I WANT A LIST MAN lol..... i should just go buy some of that piss cleanser shit and use that.

What does it matter? Buy a few bottles of Vails and always have one on you for random drug tests. When I was in highschool I was on probation with 5 random piss tests a month. I smoked pot 5 times a day or more through the whole thing. Vails cleans your piss, and hides the fact that it was cleansed by putting your creatine levels to normal, your niacin levels to normal, and making sure your piss is the right color. You just drink it right before and your fine. ALWAYS worked. There like $20 each.

dude even restaurants are starting to drug test these days. i'm up for a managerial position with a small pizza chain and they did a fucking hair test!!
i think you would be hard pressed to find a tech job that doesn't test unless you go for a position with like a mom n pop, privately owned computer shop or something.
i think it would be easier to avoid being testing working for a smaller, private business.
or you could just sell yourself doing freelance stuff. no need to worry about testing when you're your own boss!
but whether you have to take a piss test or not - there's plenty of ways to get around pissing positive on a ua.
like tmtb said - they make detox drinks, pills, etc. that you can use - i've used a bottle of some junk to clean up for a ua once - though i now realize that what most likely did the trick was all the water the instructions on the bottle said to drink after consuming it's contents.
dilution is probably the most effective way of cleaning your own piss - or at least lowering the level of metabolites down enough so that you won't test positive for a short period of time - though thc is fat soluble and not water soluble so you won't REALLY be clean for good - and super clear pee is a sure indication to the lab that you're up to no good.
anyways there's loads of info on the screening board here if you need more info on how to pass a piss test if it comes to that for you.
really though it's a hair test you should worry about! no way in hell of getting around those :(

oh and always remember to use midstream piss for a ua!! and never, ever use your first piss of the day!

My job doesn't thankfully, otherwise they'd have to can 3/4 of the workforce. The company I work for is based in Europe and European companies tend to be more liberal, basically as long as you get the work done your personal time is your own business.

yeah drug tests suck, for hiring own. get someone whois clean to piss for you, put into a sterilized leak proof bottle (RX bottles work great). Turn your defrosters on while going to the test, once its a nice hot temp right before you go in tape it to your inner thigh, go in, dump it in and hope it hasn't gotten to cold. Has worked fine for me 3 different tests for 3 diff jobs.

but mostly i work labour (tree work) jobs around here, freelancers who don't test. but i've had to be over the cup a few times, i hate that shit.

I got a job at UPS and did not have to drop. I was high when I filled out the app, took the tour, and went through saftey training. They have bitching benefits as well...pay is not the best but it is not shit either.

Oxydose: I doubt a DUI would matter as long as you are not a driver. It seemed that with the guys I was working with it was a prerequisite to employment.

I worked at Microsoft for a few years and they are firm on NOT testing.

There are companies out there that don't, but, the majority do. It's much cheaper for them to insure you if you've been tested.

That's really interesting info. Since I'm currently looking for a job that has benefits (out of pocket expense for diabetes treatment is ridiculous!) I will try to get an appointment to interview. I know from past experience that "Brown" hires alot of part time folks and students so they can keep their wages low and I thought avoid benefit packages. I also thought they would fall under the auspices of the wonderful D.O.T., which would mandate employment as well as random U.A.'s. My lifelong opiate use and the government's required U.A. has already cost me a well paying job that I was five years from retirement with pension, even though I had NO negative letters in my personnel file and only positive evaluations my entire 20 year career with the corporation. Just another example of corporate hypocricy.....

Yep: I"m in similar situation...but do have Veteran's pension, and can squeeze by on that, and so quit working...since in last few years, drug testing has beem implimented just about everywhere that matters...amazing how many freedoms we have lost just in last 20-30 years. Between lonline databases, and lack of any decent healthplans, I mean, used to be you could move and start over...not anymore.... And I actually first saw piss tests, in Vietnam, in 1972, when they tested strictly for heroin... Next place was the Gulf of Mexico, when dive company I worked for, began testing, and that was about the end of that career, and we though that was totally wrong, as it was just testing what you did on the beach, on land, not what you did while working, offshore...

And final place, was my last "career" which was as long-haul trucker, where they test you when you are hired, also random tests out on the road. I never got caught...worst luck is for potheads, since that shit seems to stay in system forever....

But I'm also non-insulin dependent diabetic, and know what you are talking about on costs...fortunately,,I'm also a vet, so get that cheap...on the other hand, V.A. considers hydrocodone, dangerously strong serious pain medicine, while, of course, to me, anythng less that dilaudid is ridiculous...
