First time IV experience

I know that ill get yelled at for crossing the Point of No Return but whatever. Last night I obtained 10 28g 1cc needles from CVS and went home. I cooked up approximately 60mg in a spoon, used the end of a cue-tip to filter and finally(took like 45mins) got a register. Fired it down the vein and I have to say I wasnt impressed, very little rush and i later browned the same amount and was way more opiated. Did I fuck something up or is IVing OC just not as good as browning it?

Hmmm, I took quite a liking to Iv'ing it. Are you iv'ing the same amount as browning? Maybe you missed a portion of your shot? Strange. I used to use less than my normal oral dosage and get really high iv'ing it.....

Is it possible that I held the lighter under the spoon too long while cooking and destroyed some/most of the oc?

Could be, with Oc,s I usually just peel off the green outer layer, put in spoon, add water, heat until just before boiling, crush pill, stir, filter, draw up liquid, and add a wee bit more water, heat tiny bit, stir again and draw it up and shoot. I know Morphine looses it's potency if heated too long. I think Oc's do too.

And I found my problem, I was letting it bubble for about 10 seconds so there was a lil less liquid cuz i only have 1cc syringes

Surely there is a wrong doing somewhere along the way otherwise you would have experience the rush which can never be forgatten..

But as they sang in mid 70's "a needle and the damage is done" is not the case in each and everyone, I am not refering to tolerance here, only the method of applying the drug of yr choice.

Good Neil young reference MajorTom. Ya thats definitely your problem, to not boil! I just crush the OC to fine powder and heat just beyond the point when it stops floating and seems to fall into solution. Barely any heating at all at least compared to cooking tar. You would know if you missed the shot.

Ive never browned anything before so I cant compare it to that. I'm just going under the impression that IV is the best route period.

I have IVd once, and i didnt like it.....didnt last very long......everyone is different, you may just not like it....and I know I did it right, I had an experianced IV user do it for me, I shot like 80mg....and Ill say I did get a rush, and an instant nod like state, for 15 min......seemed like a waste....chewing em last a few hours, snorting too.....I dunno....some people like it, some people dont....later
