anyone else see this 1966 film? it is really surreal and trippy, the autobiographical story of director/writer Conrad Rooks experience as an alcoholic/heroin addict who travels to France to take a psychedelic withdrawal cure. it has appearances from a lot of cool people like William Burroughs, Allen Ginsberg, Ornette Coleman, Ed Sanders, The Fugs, Ravi Shankar, and more. it won an award and was nominated for another at the Venice Film Festival. my friend downloaded it off a newsgroup somewhere, I really enjoyed it.
