I just got offered a really great position(I'd be making over 10 grand more a year) with a company that I would really love to work for.
Only problem is they want me to do a hair test in just a few days.
I stopped using all opiates and have been on Bupe since May 1st.
I also stopped smoking pot daily at this time.
However, I have smoked roughly 8-10 times since May 1st.
A few shared joints and the rest shared bowls.
Before mostly stopping in May I smoked every day, usually more than once a day, for approx. 12 years.
I am aware that they usually only do a 90 day test - but can go back three years or so.
I'm also aware of how the test is performed and that more than likely there is nothing that I can do to help the situation.
But - being the optimist that I am - I am going to do what I can, no matter how foolish it seems, and submit to the hair test anyways.
I figure I have nothing to lose and only something to gain.
So I've searched the net high and low for methods of ridding the follicles of THC - of course I found all sorts of crazy nonsense and of course, like I said, I am aware that no matter what I do I am probably wasting my time - but I was thinking of trying this fabled Maccuj0 method.
I've seen some people say it worked for them - and others say that it didn't.
I also read somewhere that someone had passed by using a hair straightening perm.
So has anyone else had any experience with hair testing or heard of anyone using the Maccujo method and passing?
I am partially thinking that the dude that "created" this method is most likely having a good laugh at everyone willing to try his method.

BTW - for those unaware of what the Maccuj0 method is - it involves vinegar, facial astringent and Tide detergent.

I can't help you with anecdotal reports, I don't know of anyone personally who has beaten a hair test. I can tell you, there have been no reports in the literature of successful methods. There have been papers and communications discussing several different attempts, but nothing that has worked.

The only thing I can think of is to somehow switch hair from
a clean person for yours. . . . . a clean person wig ??:confused-

but the risk with a wig, is that you'd need a real hair wig to look nice... and then, those hairs could be tainted :)... and I don't know, but they might need the root of the hair as well which wigs don't have...

Time to shave your head?

I have heard that hair tests positive for drugs for up to 6 months.I don't think this would be the root,I imagine it would be what has grown out in that amount of time, but I'm pretty sure it would be what grew out on the bottom (so maybe a lil bit of a haircut would do) but then again maybe its the follicle part so the haircut would be for nothing.Don't they have those real wigs made w/ human hair? I mean even if the test came back inconclusive at least you'd know one way or another and they wouldn't find out you were an opiate user. Then again a 10 grand job a year is a heavy price to pay? Then again they have those wigs made w/ real horse hairs.
In My Opinion I wouldn't worry about it seeming its been so long since you quit pot,as`far as the subs you could always say your dr offered it to you for an alternative pain medicine because of your fear of opiate addiction.
Hope this helps a bit-Vanilla
