after using up my arm, hand, and feet veins, i have been getting pretty frustrated lately. the thought has never crossed my mind about using leg veins, but just now i decided to give em a try. i found a vein on the inside of my leg by my shin, tied off above it, and it worked beautifully. i never really thought to use em, but it looks like i stumbled on a gold mine haha. so ya to any of you guys having trouble finding a vein, try out your legs, you might like it.

I've only IV'd twice in my life, once above my elbow with liquid methadone when I was young and stupid and once in my right hand (my hands have large athletic type veins) and this was only months ago with an OC40 and I missed or something because my hand was slightly swollen for 2 days.
If you don't mind me asking, what do you do for work? Do you conceal your tracks when working or when in public? Do people notice your tracks, that sorta thing. Not being a dick, just curious because I have no track marks so to speak
sounds like you're having a fun night bro, enjoy

im actually unemployed at the moment (go figure!) but i am in school to be a radiologic tech. my arms and hands just have faded scars, and they arent really in the spot right on the inside of the elbow. everyone whos not a junkie thinks that you can hit the same vein your whole life (and im not talking about you, im talking about the people i go to school with), and think you go right there. those scars are long gone. but anyways, i dont have to hide em anymore cause for the last few months ive been using mostly my feet. there was a vein on the side of my arm - well kind of on the backside that i was using for a few weeks this month but it finally stopped registering. that mark is easy to hide because when i sit down, i rest my arm on my leg, and when i walk the scar faces my shirt. and no worries man i dont take offense to that kind of shit. peace
wish i could find i good leg vein... mine all seem weak and hard to see. also the rush never seems as good. Apparantly after you've had your shot, raise your leg above your heart for a better rush-
take care jonny

i can't see a leg vein on me, like never. i tried once to tie my leg so i can see if something would come, but nah... if only there was a way to make them 'visible' i'd be great. seems like citric acid ruined all my arm/hand/feet veins for just a couple of months...
any tips would help, btw, if you can help with this it would be just awesome, please...
all the best

Ya, i hear ya about leg veins. I was once told by a junky when I first got started 'never use your legs!' But i never asked why. Anyway, after I started running out of arms, hands, feet veins I have since then managed to find a total or 3 good leg veins. I quickly used these up. It was like one right after another. I was just lucky i guess, they just cropped up when i wasn't even tied off (in fact they kinda disappeared once I was tied off so i'd mark 'em before hand). I was so happy to see them, and they were nice and fat! Since then I've done alot of digging around my legs at 'phantom veins' but I've never discovered another real one. For a while I was thinking if I spiked enough places i'd be bound to hit one just by the chance of odds eventually. Not so in my case, i was flying blind. But those 3 veins were glorious while they lasted!
And thats pretty funny about non-junkies thinking you can hit the same place infinitely. hehehe, i never thought about it but you are probably right about that misconception. Anyone who has even been around junkies before has seen the 'pin cushion effect,' but most people out there never have. What boring lives they must all have.
*sigh* :sad-smile
