my first heroin experience today

Really i'm not that impressed. It was utterly expensive -£20 a wrap, which was a tiny amount barely enough to get any fumes off of. I heated it on a teaspoon and sucked in the fumes through a rolled up bit of card. It did give me a bit of a nod but nothing more than i could get from DF118s. The taste was horrible and to begin with i felt a bit wobbly although nothing like the nausia i was told to expect. My concern now is that i think i've been sharped by my dealer who knew i was a greenhorn and obviously has ripped me off. And it rancours with me that i let my curisosity part me from £40 for so ridiculously little- barely enough to cover your finger nail in each wrap. I suppose thats what you get when you buy heroin- you're entering a sort of horrible world of unscrupluous dealers. Meanwhile i'm left with dirty junkie paraphernalia in the room like two blackened spoons and bits of tin foil and soot marks everywehre. I think i'rd rather stick to the codeine especially as i think i've got a source online. At least you know what you're getting and you don't have to come into contact with low life dealers. If anyone is thinking of buying some H then you should at least ask for it by the gramme and try and sound like you know what you;re doing.

ah yes the first heroin experience summer 1970 prior experience at the time lots of weed lots of lsd lots of reds(seconal) lots of whites (amphetimines or meth) some darvon 65 and no telling how much codiene cough syrup moms gave me when i was really young. along came a friend fresh home from nam trying to sell oz of the stuff. pure white and $200. we said are yoou crazy none of us had delved that far yet ( we had fixed occasionly the reds and whites) . he offered us a toot , we all tooted a match head thats all thats all it took all of my friends from that day became full blown junkies of the worst stereo type including myself, i am the only one living today. we had obtained more china white from our old buddy several more times before he met his demise (robbed by a wanna be biker crankster who shot him. where i lived back them about 30 miles from haight ashbury speed was way prevalent back then and it wasnt garbage the moral of story goddamn i wish i knew then what i know now !

heroin is a whole other thing. you can't even compare the best codeine high to even just a small IV dose of heroin, there is a rush there that you don't get, and that is what makes H "better."

well the papers are always saying it's come down in price quoting £25 a gramme in sheffield for instance. But for someone like me i only know one dealer. I mean it's hardly like a perfect market with perfect information where you can shop around for the cheapest deal.

UK average price, is about £10 for .2g So it would seem that you payed well over the odds. Also, it sounds like you consumed it in an impractical way. You should only put in in a spoon if you are mixing with water and acid for a hit. (Injection) For smoking, you dont want to heat it in a spoon so that it all goes at once, you want to gently heat it on a piece of foil and (gently) run it in lines across the foil- Basicly getting as little smoke as possible. (Also, you need to make the tube from foil, as a lot of gear collects in there that you don't want to waste.)

liberty boy i should take your disatisfying experience with heroin as a sign that its not for you. I too was disappointed with my first experience with smack and I have never smoked it choosing the IV route from the very first time (I had injected speed regularly for some years before) Stupidly I persevered until I had a full blown habit. For me the heroin rush is a soft warm glow, utter contentment and the ability to forget all your problemsThe rush you imagine you will get i.e the best feeling you will ever experience better than orgasm etc etc is a common misconception largely created by the media usually by individuals who have never experienced heroin or any other drug for that matter. Another common misconception is that heroin withdrawal is like suffering from the flu, believe me its not imagine the worst flu imaginable combined with an total inability to sleep or sit still and time which not only seems to have stopped but seems to be going backwards whilst knowing that this terrible feeling can be put right for £10.00 and a phonecall. By the way your method of smoking is probably the main reason that you didn't get much off it. It should be heated on tin foil and smoked slowly by running it in lines and inhaled through a tin foil tube. Think twice heroin grabs you and doesn't let go before you know where you are you've got collapsed veins and weeping abscesses and it takes two hours of pain and distress to get your gear in.:)

Poppy just said some words of wisdom. I cant tell you how much I wished I never ever ever ever turned myself into a junkie. First time I smoked it, I was like, This is it??? I remember saying, I prefer to just smoke a fat joint. But before I knew it, I kept on smoking until I realized that this what all I was ever doing. It has had me by the nuts since than. If you have a choice to turn your back on heroin, before heroin makes you turn your back on everything else and evryone else, my advice would be to do it. Let it go before your fucked.

Dont get me wrong, I still love opiates, but I wonder where I would be today if I wasnt a junkie.

thanks for the advice. I tried running it in a sort of line but it burnt into a black tar so quickly and i had such a tiny quantity that i was afraid of losing the fumes so i just sort of paniced and rushed to suck in as much of the vapour as i could.

I got a bit of a warm glow but hydrocodone is much the same. If i ever got a better deal i might try a more composed attempt at some point in the future. But i take your point however bad life is that heroin seems the answer ,a heroin habit with all that physical dependency entails would just make it worse.

Uhh... That is the truest thing i have heard all day. If anyone ever tries to convince you that a heroin problem will make anything better they are absolutely wrong as can be. Im sure everyone knows this, so sorry for just posting the obvious, i just was caught a little off guard when i read that.

milky tears the gear must be cheaper where you live. Here in the west mids uk we pay £25 per half g unless you r buying bigger quantities then obviously the price comes down. Generally your average junkie on the street pays £10 per bag of gear

@poppy- Not cheaper at all, I said I pay £10 for.2g- You pay £25 for .5g so yours is cheaper. I lived in Brum for a while (Winson Green, by the prison and Perry Bar for a bit too) and I can assure you that you will be getting better deals AND better gear than me!

I remember my first H experience man. This dude owed me money and he was a junkie to boot (he was an enforcer for the HA but they kicked him to the curd when the H and blow toke him over). Anyways i went to get my cake off him and he said he spent it on coke and H cause he got a wicked deal, but he said he would pay me in coke. At this time in my life i was a speed freak and did blow but had never wacked it. So stupidly i agreed to trade (I knew if i didn't i would get fuck all).
I did a big rail and sat down to shoot the shit with him when i realized the stupid fucker gave me H and not coke. I was living in BC at the time and all the H was killer china white. WELLLLLLLL i ODed big time. I fell down his stairs and then i came to in the hospital with my head split open and full of narcone.
Funny thing was i never became a H junkie for quite some time. Some of my bros were shooting there coke and told me how great it was so i got one to do me, and of course i loved it. I was totally afraid of needles all my life but after my first wack i was into doing it myself. FOR THE LOVE OF DRUGS. hehehe.
Well most of my buds did H and blow (speedballs) so i followed suite and thats what got me.
I fell in love with H though when another time i just chased the dragon and got the most amazing high ever. Still to this day.
Back then my problen was i also drank alot of booze and stupidly would do H and OD. So i wasn't to fuckin smart. 3 years was one big hazzzzzzzzzzzzze that im only remembering now some 15 years later man. I still have an opiate problem though...hehehe.......PEACE.......WAYNE.......<{{{><.....
