So heres some dumb shit I have been thinking about. Maybe not so dumb, but I have low self esteem.....anyways, in a few days my health insurance runs out....My 2 furthest back teeth are super messed up, and Im thinking of taking advantage of my dental cause I never have....also I hear if you have cracked teeth you can get a bacterial infection or something gross like that....my teeth always bother me, but normally Im on pain meds so I dont notice....I havnt had anything since friday, and the last few days I have noticed they hurt alot...anyways, if I end up going(which I will if I can get an appointment in the next 3 days)....should I tell em that Im on oxycodone and it doesnt help the tooth pain? I can prove Im prescribed it with my pill bottle...anyways will they give me something on top of that, or just tell me to fuck off I already have pain pills? I know this sounds like a newbie question, but I hate doctors/dentists and dont wanna get my shit yanked out and be in tons of pain for no reason......any answers would be great thanks

well when they yank out teeth they usually give hydro. ive only heard of one person getting anything better, and it was 5/325 percs. i prolly wouldnt tell them im on anything, and then just take whatever they give me. they definitely will not give you oxycontin, and if you tell them youre on it its not like they are going to be like "oh, well in that case we better give you some dilaudid for your pulled teeth!"

I highly doubt a dentist is going to give you something better than oxycodone for tooth pain. In my experience (bad teeth here), oxycodone, hydrocodone, etc don't work as good as an 800mg Motrin does for dental pain. Why not try taking a couple advil with your regular oxy dose. What is it that you expect the dentist to give you?
yeah I wouldn't even mention to them your on any narcotics, and you'll most likely end up with some
Vicodin ES or something

when I lived in Florida, the norm at dentists like wisdom teeth or any tooth problem resulted in hydrocodone 5mg/7.5mg or percocet 5mg, 10mg if you're lucky or its a root canal or somethin
good luck with that shit
