Question of tolerance

Hello everyone, I'm new here. I have a few burning questions to ask and I'm so glad I found my way here. My question(s) relate to tolerance. I've been taking oxycodone 10/325 for maybe 3-4 years now. I get 120 of them a month and this has been great/horrible in retrosepct.

As of thanksgiving break (im still in college) it took about 8-10 of them throughout the course of the day to keep me good. That weekend we stumbled across two 4mg hydromorphones. Now, from reading erowid I've known what these are for a long time. (Un)fortunatly me and my girl aren't doing anything IV so we split one 4mg and each snorted 2mg...which really didnt do shit:mad: . I was very dissapointed, hoping that it would be close to the rush I have heard of from shooting them. So we still have the other 4mg pill, and I've been seriously considering going to the needle exchange to take the next step. Screw it, I want that high I know I can get only one other way. The only thing holding me back is worrying about some complication from not crushing the pill right. so... that was a waste of a fuckin D.

Now my girl is tellin me shes comin up this weekend and may have some actiq's (fentanyl pops). So, what im wondering is, if we eat these, will the percs stop working? if so for how long? I know these are all questions that depend on the person and all that, but just wondering if anyone would have any feed back.

I think you would have to kick up your oxycodone doses if you start taking something stronger. I went from codeine to hydrocodone and I used them both and both worked. When I started doing oxycodone, codeine all of a sudden stopped working, even at doses exceeding 350 mg!! Hydrocodone however still worked. When I found a steady supply of MS Contin - all of them stopped working. The only thing that would work now was morphine, heroin and hydromorphone or high doses of oxycodone. I got the chance to try oxymorphone suppositories twice and let me tell you that shit beats all opioids. Nothing compares to oxymorphone, not even heroin or morphine. When you start using morphine, hydromorphone, heroin or fentanyl the other weaker narcotics will generally not have much effect unless taken in higher doses. This of course depends on how often you start doing the stronger narcs. Even though I use morphine and heroin now, I still get good buzzes off of oxycontin in high doses though(hydrocodone and codeine don't work worth shit).

PS, if you ever come across oxymorphone BUY IT because you will not regret it and you might never have that kind of chance again your whole life. After doing it twice, I LONG for it. It high beats all the other narcotics hands down!

Well, from what I gather, the fentanyl wont be coming around very often. It may be this is the only time I'll be getting it so I think I'll do it. Also, I'm not sure I want to IV the hydromorphone, is there any way to get a good effect from it? snorting it really didnt work so well.

I suppose I dont have too high of a tolerance, about 50mg oxycodone gets me off. How many mg should I IV?

Expo, my experience with fentanyl is that it has taken my tolerance and put it on a rocket ship straight to the sky. Back when I did pharms and was at about 80 mg oxy to get off I stumbled on some fent patches. We ate them(not the smartest thing to do with patches in retrospect) and after that I could not get high...at all(at least with the 200 mg I could afford) This may not be the case with actiq, I have no experience with it, but basically every time you take the step up, it seems the things lower down on the ladder won't get you where they used to


I've also never used IV, just for perspective.
