random muscle jerks, twitches, etc

Ever since I started the wellbutrin (which I only took for 4 days, then quit after it fucked with my high) - I've had the annoying muscle jerks and twitches, mainly in the legs and arms - and oddly the pec muscles on my chest... at night they happen about once every 5 - 10 minutes and during the day/morning it's like once every 30 minutes..

anyone else have similar shit from meds?

maybe I should just go after prozac for depression :D

I get this too a pretty significant degree when i'm on dope, especially when I'm laying down to sleep. I think its like all the shooting has given me 'mini' strokes and got me all fucked up. Where'd I put my gear?

It should go away. Wellbutrin worked pretty good for me when I needed it. Also, if you want to try to quit smoking I'd do it know. Wellbutrin and Zyban are the same thing.

I would switch to a different anti-depressant.
Wellbutrin lowers the convultion threshold and
muscle jerks may mean your close. Or you could
add some Dilantin to the mix.

i got "small facial seizures"
my tongue would go to the back of my throat
and my mouth would twist itself to the left
i was talking like a down's syndrome patient
and it hurt the shit outta my neck

I've only had one full blown siezure, and I had it in Belize, after spending about a month daily drinking this rotgut rum and large amounts of paregoric. I ran out of money drugs, everything but a ticket back to Belize City, and on bus all of a sudden I was hit with terror like I'd never known. Got off bus, told him to go on, I was sure I was dying, didn't know why or what was going on, I crawled behind some shack, and there I was, near Guatemalan border I think, I don't remember, dying, and then I go out, and when I come back to, there were a bunch of indiginous workers standing around me, and I'm like so lost and tired, and don't know what the fuck...one of them finally gets a bottle of some rotgut, and I take a slug of that and immediately got better, so although at the time I saw it as huge dramatic epileptic siezure, and that now I was just like "Dostoevski," or some other literary bullshit...later, when I got back to Miami, and went to hospital docs told me, nah, it was just plain old alcoholic siezure, more than likely.

Never happened again, but since then, I've had a lot more sympathy, and my heart just goes out to people who actually have siezures sometimes, as it was most frightening thing I ever went thru...but certainly nothing for idiots like me to romanticize or pretend to. It's a tough road, sometimes, people travel...
