What do I say to my Doc to get Adderal or any ups

I got a normal doc apt on monday with my amazing doctor who gives me anything I want, but she doesn't deal with psych stuff, plus I don't want to get into anything with her that makes her think I am over medicated..

But at the same clinic I am going see the psych doc. He is a really nice calm and cool guy. I am not sure if him and my other doc swap info but they have the same chart obviously.

Anyways, I get RX'd 120 roxi 15mg 120 roxi 5mg and 150 dilly 4mg. I suffer from Rheumatoid Arthritis and Osteo Arthritis. I def need what they script me for and have a great trusting relationship with my PCP. However the opi's make me very drowsy and I really don't have any energy during the day, I just want to sit and nod out in pleasure.

What do I tell the psych doc to get some kind of sweet upper like Adderal, and have you guys ever heard of Foccalin (spelling?). I don't know if I should say anything about the oxy's or dillies making me feel this way cause i'm afraid they will think I am over medicated, although I doubt that will be an issue considering how awesome my doc is. Do they script Adderal for conditions such as mine or is that strictly ADD stuff?

Any help would be sweet duders.

Ahhh...you've got an AWESOME doctor...I seriously doubt they'll give you an upper to combat your opiate drowsiness...the days of old are over...back in the day they had something called Dexamyl which was a barbiturate (Amytal or amobarbital) and an amphetamine (Dexedrine, or dextroamphetamine)...a completely legal speedball...unfortunately, those days are over. I'd be very surprised if your doctor gave you an upper to combat your drowsiness from opiates. If anything, he/she would lower your dosage because a therapeutic dose shouldn't make you that drowsy. I'd be extremely thankful for what you get now (that is a GOLDMINE, I don't care who you ask). I would be...

But seriously, the only way you might get scripted Adderall or Dexedrine would be to go to a completely different doc, don't tell him you're taking opiates or anything for that matter, and just tell him/her that you have trouble staying focused for classes you're taking at the local community college. Maybe add that you had the same problems when you were in school, depending on how old you are.

You make a good point... Technically it is a different doctor but at the same practice, so yes they share my chart. Well maybe I could use what you were saying about community college with that doctor? Or do you think they will hesitate to basically be hookin me up with speed balls?

I live in Boulder Colorado, which is just an insane crazy college town (it's beautiful though) and with that comes a ridiculous amount of adderal. The dorms are like a fucking adderal factory. But I can't stand those little rugrats.

How much does adderal cost at the pharm? is it available generic? Also have you heard of Foccalin?

make sure you do what you already figured out.stay away from asking a doctor from the same place (that share the same charts) or else you could and most probally will get demoted in yer opiate allowance, just my 2 cents
