Just wanted to say that I hopee everyone had as good a holiday weekend as I did! Great vacation...I got to do everything i wanted to....except kick it with my boy in the ATX... but other than that...DAMN!!! What a killer vacation! Anyone have any stories? (I'll post a couple side-splitters later tonight when I have time).

I'm glad you are back. Virtually everything you say here is right on, so I missed you (and actaully got a little worried) when you went off for a few days. As to your question, I also had a great holiday, though I won't bore you with any of my inane stories. It was'nt like the good ol' days; good is, of course, relative.

Since I've been a vegetarian nearly all my life, and I feel that Thanksgiving was the beginning of the end for the Native Americans, it's always been sort of a downer holiday for me (especially since my birthday often falls on it.)

The 26th was my 25th birthday, and there was a surprise party (I don't like to be the center of attention for a large group.) And I got lots of presents (for some reason I always feel a little guilty when I get a gift. When I recieve many, I feel like I've done something wrong, and am racked with guilt.) I also couldn't sleep at that house (my aunt's) and so I was up for nearly a week. I'm so glad that weekend is over.

I hope the other members here had a nice holiday though.

Edit: Wow Paesan, that sounds really awkward. Nervous that your new girlfriend is going to bring up something she learned from your ex, out of the blue? Hope you at least had a good time.

Wow, skeleton. If I was 7 years younger and my birthday was on Thanksgiving, I'd say you were my long lost twin. I HATE xmas for the same reasons you mention above, anot to mention the group thing you and I share. ...And I too am a vegetarian. It makes for good fun around the family on turkey day, huh?

I have no idea what the fuck they were talking about, but my new girl is still (an even more so) all over me so it couldn't have been all bad. Me and my ex ended on good terms, she moved to Boston (where I was born and raised) to go to law school and we just kinda ended it, so I don't think she'd say anything that bad.

What's funny is thanksgiving was my current girls B-Day, the big 19(yeah she's a baby, but hey I'm only 23). She also got a $3500 check from some modeling thing she did last month so she paid for EVERYTHING last weekend...so yes I had a great time...

NICE! MAn, i wish I could've come down... but after whoopin that man at the gas station.... my Saturday night became WiLd!!!! Next thing I knew, I had the chick that stays at my house (my ex...now best friends with my sister) got into it with my girl...this is so wrong----BUT DAMN IT'S NICE TO HAVE 2 CHICKS SQUABBIN' OVER YA!!!! It turned out having the ex say she's off to ATX (3a.m.)---drunk as hell---so I stayed home with my girl and a couple of GAGGERS...well, more than a couple!!!!! We didn't stop that party till around 11a.m.! Mad fun... oh...I forgot...earlier that night, we had been to 1 titty bar, 1 bars & a club.... Whew!!! I still feel wrecked. It was a nice way to kill the first 5 days of no pods!

Uh-oh...we got New Year's comin' up!!!!
