Yeah, welcome to the club, Jay. We gotta keep hope alive, when the dope-using gets bad, that we can get away...and sometimes, when straight life become unbearable, I gotta be able to get loaded too...but since nineteen, when I first did heroin, I've been struggling with this monster. I did have five years off it, when I got a couple degrees, and lived in Austin Texas. And later I had seven years, between Florida and here...but last year went bad again. I don't even like the tar that much, but between this and that...well, here I am...good luck to you, main thing is to be careful, not be too destructive of yourself...

man i wish i only started when i was 19. i just turned 19 and i been using since i was like 15 or 16 (IV heroin anyway, used pot at 9 then started smokin pot and experimenting with alot of stuff when i was 14)

also i been around pot and alcohol and cigarettes my whole life my dad being a heavy user of all 3....and i have a 6 year older brother who started using at a young age too and my sister too shes 30..... oh man what a family lol

Same old song and dance. You're not the first person to "swear they'll quit" once they get a nice hit.

Enough of the pissing contest with you bragging that you "did a 100mg shot". I hope you realize that you're not accomplishing anything by doing that. And anyhow, you're in the US, and we don't have RX diamorphine here, so where do you get off giving us milligram amounts?

You know Jay, quitting is a good thing, and is certainly attainable, hell you're 19 and should snap right back...I already gave you a detailed account of what I think in ur previous thread about quitting, so no need to repeat my self..

All I'll say is good luck with that, and if you want to quit, then do it. If you don't want to, then don't. You're no less of a man for not quitting, compared to if you do quit---> it's completely up to you; but just know that you'll need to make a commitment and stick with it...the thing is, you'll save yourself a lot of strife, and internal struggle by picking something and not being it, but living it...u wanna quit? good. quit, and live, drug free, no harm no foul; on the other hand, if you don't, then don't , but know that you don't want to; in other words, don't be wishy-washy about it....Pick a lifestyle, and live it, and that's the best any of us can do, isn't it?

well, i know what i get is diamorphine, and i figure its at LEAST 50% pure (probably more around 80%), so when i weigh up 200mg in a shot, i figure its atleast a 100mg shot of diamorphine

i dont understand why there is a specific rule on this board about NOT being an asshole that moderators dont have to follow. oh well theres a lot of shit i will never understand about human behavior i guess.

We try to follow the same rules everybody else does, jonny. But also--like everybody else--we have bad days and personality conflicts, and people we just don't get along with all that well. ya i know but with certain people it just seems like post after post day after day nothing positive to say. i know that no one has control over other people and the system isnt perfect i was just hoping a certain someone would see my post and think about how they would feel if people talked to them like that. thats all.

I think the hope is that with a variety of moderators that everything gets covered, you know, that maybe one moderator might be more understanding when others might be a bit hard on people. I know what you are saying...we don't always agree among ourselves, and we know we don't always get it right, either. Sometimes we get fed up and irritated, and forget that since we have a little more power, that we have to be little more restrained. Right now I think we just want to keep Opiophile up and running, and that's been hard on the administrators. Maybe in the future, when things calm down a bit, we'll be able to get more input from the members on the selection--and expected performance--of moderators. Thanks for your input, and I know you want the best for this place, and so do we...
