I was quoted at $400 and change for 80 40mg tabs generic. Is this what the rest of you are paying? and how much are you guys paying for Fent patches, I pay $90 for 10 50mcg patches and $26 for 100 4mg Hydromorphone..

Last fill for 90 80mg. OC/Brand was $1,080
Month prior, I actually located the last of the ABG/Watson's in Dallas, so 90 80's were like $606
I was quoted $495, think, for 10 100mcg Fent patches

That blows my mind why Oxycodone time-released is like 100x more expensive than the immediate release percs or roxis. Why is that? It is not like Purdue Pharma created the chemical or had to do such extensive research that it raised the price of the drug 100-fold! They had to take the same chemical and make it break down is less time. No different then they did with MS Contin (a fraction of the price)... what is the difference? I wish someone could explain this to me. Even the generics at $600+ per script. To receive Roxi's or Percs in the same mg would be about $200. What is up with that?

Yes they are that epensive. I used to get an RX for 60 20s and the generic was $210 and the generic was like $170. The reason they are so expensive is because of the time release matrix. 120 Roxicodone 30s (generic) is about $155. You are paying for the time release.

the last rx for 75 mcg fent patches, the jannsen brand, was $586 for ten. the generic mylan patches listed for $310. the cost of 120 400mcg actiq came to $2785 for the month. when i switched to fentora, the cost for 120 200mcg tabs was $1976. last month i got upped to the 400mcg tabs and the cost was $2586 for 120 tabs.

i would say that the prices you were quoted were pretty close to normal or even a bit lower than the prices i have seen. all i can say is thank god for insurance and i sure hope that the greedy bastards continue to pay for my rx's instead of trying to make the dr. try something cheaper.

What you don't pay for OC's will barely make up for the taxes you pay on gas and pretty much on anything else.
It's what they call an economic system based upon social solidarity you may say "socialist" without any knd of political reference but just referring to the kind of basic structure and organization of the statal Treasury..right the opposite of the american capitalistic kind of system. That is one of the main differences between the EU and the US.

The last time I tried the Actiq, 1 box/just 30 800mcg was $950 or so.

The Opana AND Opana ER are just as expensive as the OC, so I switched back.

BTW if you don't have insurance, try this. It will save you some money. When I got my Percs before I had insurnace they were $85 with this they were $40.
