morphine is great for nodding, since it tends to be one of the more sedating opies. the price seems high to me. i was getting 100mg for $8 last summer, but prices vary hugely from place to place and from source to source. and yes, you can safely shoot morphine as long as you don't mind the pins & needles from the histamine reaction it causes. some formulations of ms contin break down into solution real nice, others you'll need to play with some (i.e. crisping, the ike-method, etc). hope this helps.... try to negotiate that price down some & enjoy...

Damn! I wish I could get 100mg morphine pills for $8! Over here, I generally pay $70AUS for each MS Contin. I'm a lucky one, some have shitty sources and get them for $100AUS each. Thank god I'm on a maintenance programme now!

Maybe its just me, but I love morphine. At 30mg 3X day, plus one 10mg perc every 4 hours, I maintain a decent buzz, get a good nod on from time to time, and my pain is well controlled. I know some people don't care for MS contin, but with just a little work, browning them increases the effects quite a bit. What I did last night (just to try it) was took the coating off of five of the 30s, crushed, added to a shotglass of almost boiling water, and let it sit for a couple hours, then plugged it. Now, a little over 24 hours later (after only taking 3 percs today) I am still pleasantly warm and fuzzy feeling. I know I went a little over the prescribed dose, but I always play for a couple days before I settle in to taking them properly. I guess today, I can take the 3 percs i didn't take yesterday, and save the third MS for later, when I do need it.

Damn, I get ta rambling when I'm high, and just can't fuckin stop. :D

^^ I'm with you both on this one. I love IV morphine..and believe it or not the pins and nedles is part of the reason.

Whenever I would get H cut with Morphine in it..I would instantly know the diff cause the feeling of pins and needles is much diff than that warm feeling that starts in your groin and works its way up your back to your head that you get with H..

I love my morphine.almost as much as I love H. I agree though it is a bit more sedating..but since I rarely sleep ..that's a positive for me.

And RX is correct..there are def ways around the time release. Many ways...

U-100../you used the above method for the Watson's correct? Did you even attempt to IV or just go with the other ROA straight off?

^^ I didn't bother with trying to IV. My veins just don't love me anymore. Repeated courses of vancamycin, as well as years of abuse, I'm lucky they still work at all. Browning MS is quite effective for me and it lasts a good long while.

this is a fabulous idea! breakdown methods specific to each brand. there are too many to remember without having to search for each brand i might get from different sources. i like helpful stickies! :)

yep, my veins and me have an ongoing love/hate relationship as well. and i concur about the ROA... browning MS hits ya good and justs goes on and on...gotta love a buzz that's got legs!

oh wow, i wanna try browning it. I've browned Vics before. But what about the wax, is that ok to put 'Up there'? You didn't remove anything but the coating?

I have got to try that because crushing them and eating them i can't seem to get a super good high and it only last like 4 hours. I think with browning i wouldn't have to dose so often and I'm trying to get these 90 ms Contins (30 mgs) to last.

in my city 100mg morphines are $120... effed up eh. but with that you do get double (AA) to turn it with.
that gets rid of the pins n needles, and makes it wayyy stronger. still, if i could get them for $8 ea i'd be doing a roaring trade and living a life of wealth and luxury...

Holy fuck, $1 mg for MORPHINE!?!? I wouldn't give 50cent a mg for morphine! I wouldn't give 50cent a mg for fucking oxy even! wow! Now have you HONESTLY ever heard of someoen paying 120 for one?? omg thats crazy! God I'm amazing and shocked when I ehar about $1/mg for oxy, and now morphine!!!! and it takes 60mg morphine to be equiv to 30mg oxy... just wow lol.
Personally I find morphine to be next to worthless aside from keeping well(and it sucks at that for me because I need so much, and my toler isn't that high!) unless IV'd. Morph is more so sedating than euphoric to me.

msContins manufacture even states that the tablets can be sued rectally... so just shave that pill up ya bum and say "omg did I just really stick a pill up my ass!?!?!":rolleyes:
I personally am not into enemas and whatnot, even thought it's said to be equal to IM use pretty much. but yeah, I remember reading on msContins that they can be sued anally by people who can't swallow pills good and stuff, plus it would be stronger they claimed.

I can't believe the prices for morphine SR. I pay $100 for 20 100mg MSContin right now as I have a friend who gets lots Rx'd. But even on the street here they are $20 at most. What country are you people in?

I like the sustained release. I use it as my maintenance drug and supplement with Oxy's,H, or IV IR Morphine. It's great stuff because it lasts a fair while (~8 hour) and is pretty cheap . Beats going on MMT IMO because you get to take your meds home for the month.

Of course that isn't an option for everyone I realize. I go to a pain management clinic and get 90mg/day of SR and 40 10mg IR for breakthrough pain a month.

I found I had to play around with it for a while before I learned to make it work for me.


My tolerance is going through the roof though on the negative side.
