Chewing OC to make it instant?

In the Oxy FAQ is says chewing/crushing makes the Oxys become instant release. I thought this wasn't true.

All one needs to do to get instant release oxy is crush up the pill?

Yes. The extended release activity is due to the time it takes to dissolve the whole pill. More surface area, quicker absorption.

I've put oxy 80's through the washing machine and they come out exactly the same size (almost). If you put a fast acting med in the washing machine (like methadone in my case) it will dissolve instantly.

Ya, I had my pants in the dryer by the time I wanted to fix and then, "Oh shit!"

Yanked em out and all of the oxys were still in the pocket (I always put my drugs in those little mini coin pockets jeans have) but the methadone was long gone. I probably would have chewed on the pocket if it had been a regular pocket, but the little one is kinda hard to get at...

In my pockets, I like to leave them in those little ziploc baggies. Keeps the lint off too!

Ya, I used to buy those when I sold $20 sacks of bud in high school. I always bought the clear ones instead of the less tastefull one with the bud leaves or skulls on them.

Trouble is my hookup doesn't use em. And I haven't sold a twomp since high school.:rolleyes:

I try not to carry any equiptment ever. you never know when Johnny Law will come knocking. I generally keep my stuff in a pill cutter that i have, i just got it and it has a locking device on it how sweet is that?. I usually dont have anything for very long with the exception of pot, which i like to keep in pill bottles. Pills or any other drug generally gets taken withing 15 minutes of purchase.
