banging these avinzas - question!

so i have a good amount of these avinza 120mg and 60mg caps.

i normally shoot my oxy 80s and i love the high they give, but these avinzas were a completely different exp...

1. so i took a 120 cap and crushed 1/2 of the beads in it until i was left with very fine powder
2. added a lil less than 1cc of water and heated until slight boil in the spoon
3. used a cotton ball and drew up all of the water, so there should have been about 60mg MORPH SUL in the syringe

after a few seconds of shooting, i felt a very painful ITCH and shortly after got hives for a couple of minutes. what the hell is that. do people actually LIKE that feeling? it REALLY fucking hurts!!!

did i do something wrong in the prepping process or what? does anyone have any suggestions? maybe are you supposed to just push on the plunger verrrrry slowly or something? i have all this morphine and wanna enjoy it to its highest potential. help!

ps - for me 60mg shouldn't even be THAT much seeing as that i take 70mg of methadone daily (and yes i waited before shooting the morphine)

histamine reaction. I've noticed it with anything in the morphine family. Heroin yields a very mild histamine reaction, sometimes. Hydropmorphone, always get a moderate histamine reaction, atleast on the first few hits. And with morphine you get a real severe histamine reaction. My experience. One time I got a fucked up bad headache for like 15 minutes. But the more shots you do, per session and per lifetime, it seems the less you react.

The first time I ever shot morphine I felt the really bad itch and it made my veins feel like they were on fire. It was a 100 mg Kadian. The next week I got a bottler of liquid morphine from my friend who cut half of his hand off. I still got an itch and felt l;ike my veins were on fire but I enjoyed it a lot more. Eventually I got to the point where I loved that feeling (especially if I was using it after doing some coke).

I agree though, that the more shots u do the more you like the reaction.

ive had lots of IV morphine in the hospital that i dont react to it much anymore. demerol however is usually the one that once in a while will get me. dilaudid is always awesome tho and enjoyable, but i dont have a reaction to it.

When I would shoot morphine I would get a really warm feeling and be paralyzed during it :D I loved it. Is that what y'all are talking about or is that the normal reaction? I remember the first time I shot. I was in my bathroom. I pushed the plunger and nothing happened for 5 seconds. I was thinking "This sucks ass." then literally 2 seconds later I had an intense feeling of euphoria and warmth. I saw my eyes constrict.. that shit was awesome.

I've had that happen, maby you missed a,little, histamine reactions should not be painful.

Oh I never use heat on Avinza, just crush and add water. you may want to use a little more water..and don't forget to do a second wash,,you'd be surprised at how much is left in there.

only morphine and codeine have given me the most horrible histamine reactions that I have stripped naked and polished cortisone cream on myself. Only these two opiates have done this and codeine the worst, especially codeine sulfate, the CII one in the states, small 30mg by themselves but morphine the same but not as much for some reason. Gotta stock up on benadryl and cortisone
