YES!!, i saw my pain doc today and he upped me from 2 30mg Mscontins a day to 3 a day. I just told him that i still had pain in the middle of the day and he told me that means i need 3 a day rather than 2.

I actually saw a different Doc, my regular pain doc was on vacation so i saw his assoicate and I LOVE THIS GUY. I asked the nurse if i could switch Doctors and she said sure and than she said, everyone likes this Doctor better than the other one. This other doc i saw today is so sweet, a big cuddly black man with a big heart.

He also switched me to Skalaxin rather than Xanaflex and added Topomax. I've been on the Topomax before. I read up on Skelaxin and it says it does have some sedetive properties... I don't know what it will make me feel though. I'll take it tonight.

So I'm very pleased and i really like this new doctor. I'm gonna stick with him.

So now i have 90 30mg MS Contins... yeaaaaaa!!

I see him again in two weeks. He also asked me if i took anything for brake through pain and i said no but i think next time I'm gonna say i do need something for brakethrough pain, which is true.

Ok, gonna read some posts and enjoy my Morphine he he

Thats awesome, rats. Glad things worked out for you too. :D My doc did the same thing, and I gotta tell ya, it makes a huge difference. I've been doing my best to stick to "as written" and the extra pill makes a lot of difference.

Skelaxin is garbage. Nothing at all. If you take five you will get some sedative effect but feel like shit. Aks your big black cuddly doc for Soma instead. Much better!

Amazing that one extra pill can make so much difference but it does. Good job Godess. And I agree with CII..if you can get Soma it will help much more than skelaxin! Enjoy!
